I had them service my jet wash and complete a repair as shown on an invoice. The repair was never completed and the jet wash broke down after the first use again.
I also had a steam cleaner going for a service they forgot to put oil in the pump and it cost me £850 for a new pump. I’m sure they are good at garden machinery, but I definitely do not recommend them for any pressure washing services.

Recently had my Mountfield Lawnmower serviced @ Blades. 2 week turnaround the machine works great - ready for the summer.

- transporting to our workshop where jobs are prioritised in date order of receipt
- delivering your fully serviced lawnmower within 2 weeks. At this time of year, we stipulate our average turnaround time is 4 weeks during our peak periods. (We always advise our customers about the expected turn around time and we never offered 2 day service period)
- explaining in detail how the Hayter Warranty Service applies to your lawn mower. We are checking through on a 52-points-checking list which meets all technical requirements. Also, all our competitors work with a similar system and similar prices.
We have already explained in a lengthy email reply that the service takes 2 hours per machine, which involves the dismantling, checking the carburettor and all moving parts, then reassembling your machine with new oil, spark plug, filter and fuel. We then do a quality check by running the machine, to ensure the mower is working at optimum efficiency.
Therefore as your Hayter Lawnmower was fully serviced and returned to you within 14 days, at a busy time of year, we have delivered a good standard of customer service. We would have liked the opportunity to discuss your concerns with Blades Garden Machinery and resolving any issues you had amicably at the time.

Really poor customer service, phone calls and emails unanswered, aggressive attitude. Had my machine nearly 1 month. Now voicemail inbox is full so you can’t even leave a message. Will never use again, at one point I felt I had to contact the police. Just look at the replies to negative feedback. No ownership, no responsibility that they may have been in the wrong. My advise to them speak with your customers whilst you still have some. Awful traumatic experience.

I highly recommend this shop. Clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. Very reliable and helpful. I bought a scarifier from here and will be returning soon to purchase more equipment. This is now my 'go to' place for lawn care equipment for my business. Thanks a lot

Great service from this family run business today. Called by phone yesterday to discuss purchasing a new battery mower and got some excellent advice. Went down today after further research (which agreed with the advice they had given) and purchased a mower and strimmer from them with full explanations/demonstration of different models and no pressure. Pricing was competitive. Will be back for future needs and servicing. Thank you very much for your help!

These people give you one price for repairs and then when you go to collect they then charge you a hell of a lot more. You can repair and buy machines a lot cheaper elsewhere, like d,d hire and many more places.I would recommend you do not use blades.They will tell you lies to get your money.Very bad service

I'm sorry for you thinking like this after many years of service. All our fault was my new assistant forget to give you a quote. But telling like that after I gave you 50% compensation on the labour for this mistake is not nice. By the way, if you check our service fees to compare with others then you will see who is the liar.

Started off well when I booked it in. I was told it will be 2 weeks before they can look at it and there maybe a diagnostic cost. All ok with me.
I went down to the work shop and the technician had just finished the job (this technician had sorted out the problem Top man ) but trying to collect it was a different story
I rang 3 times to collect it the next day but no response to how it is coming on . No quote before carrying out the work . I asked to speak to the manager. Just rude and aggressive over the phone not listening to what I had to say so unfortunately I cannot recommend this company that’s I do recommend their workmanship but not the admin staff

I’m sorry for what happened, but you went to the workshop several times without the permission of the business owner (as shown by the danger sign outside) this is not allowed to the public. The landlord also strongly prohibits this. You put the machine down in the store and not in the workshop, and the business rules state that you must pick it up from there after payment. You were not interested in the admin staff, but you bothered the technician working there several times, who was not entitled to it and is not trained to do so.
You also wanted to take the machine out of the workshop before settling the bill and not from the store you brought it to. You took the machine before the master technician could inspect it and report it ready. The work was completed on time as promised and in impeccable quality. I don't think you even complained about that.
