We had an exceptional experience working with Birch Fumigators in the fall 2025 season.
Brian did an extremely thorough job in the assessment and provided valuable insights into home maintenance and pest control measures, as well as answering all our questions about treatment and prevention strategies.
Brendon and Jesea arrived within the week, and were both extremely professional, polite, and clean. Cleanup after the job was minimal and both were great to work with.
We would recommend Birch Fumigators without hesitation!

Ryan and Matt were very thorough in checking my roof for spots where squirrels have been getting in, building a single way door, and making recommendations on how to prevent this from happening again. They also took the time to go through the safety data sheet for the pesticide used for ant hills on my property following some concerns I had. They were very empathetic, covering the details to ensure I felt satisfied with everything. They were so easy to work with and appreciate their attention to detail and care. I would recommend this business for pest control and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Also, the staff I booked with listened well and answers all my questions. All very professional.

We called Birch Fumigators to help us deal with Ants. Brian was very helpful. After the initial assessment he answered our questions. The day of the treatment he arrived with Mark and Diana. Brian kept us informed of progress and provided a detailed summary of the treatment including recommendations for prevention. It's never fun dealing with pests but this team makes it much easier.

BIRCH FUMIGATORS wields power only as a PUPPET REGIME. The REAL holders of power are the greedy landlords. When there is a bedbug infestation in a particular apartment suite, the pest control company at the very best can only make a suggestion to the landlord to also fumigate all adjacent suites at the same time. If only the single affected suite is sprayed, this is what happens…the bedbugs along with all their relatives just pack up and move next door to the next unsuspecting victim and take up residence in another person’s suite.
Landlords, being the cheapskates that they so often are, will instead of taking a proactive approach, will skip out on other suites that are nearby. All this serves to do is to perpetuate and exacerbate the problem. The pests quickly multiply, gain a strong hold elsewhere, and become difficult if not almost impossible to get rid of. All the while, poor tenants suffer through horrible bedbug bites and multiple failed fumigation attempts. To say that tenant’s lives are disrupted and inconvenienced for months on end is an understatement.
The fumigators use chemicals that are no longer as effective like they once were. Because of this fact, the landlord gets a deal. The Company benefits too by not resolving the issue quickly and by getting a repeat customer. All this is very self-serving for each party. And who suffers in all this? – the Tenant. Absolutely disgusting! The landlord should be REQUIRED by law and by the company to spray all adjacent suites as well and not just the affected one as part of the eradication regiment. Only by doing this, will the pests be at least more effectively kept under control and then quickly eradicated.
These pest control companies call themselves exterminators, but what they really are, are Bug Realtors. The best they can do is get the bugs to go to somebody else’s place – just relocate them – you know what I mean? Pest Control Companies are just Hotel Concierges in disguise that accommodate the bug guests and say to them … what, you didn’t like the other place?? You say the chemical potpourri was nauseating. Don’t you worry-- we’ll fix that in a jiffy. Here’s another place for you to stay just next- door complements of the Concierge. Welcome, there is not much light here, there is plenty of food, and your meal sleeps mostly through the night; no poisonous potpourri here. Don’t you worry your little blood sucking head you’ll enjoy several months of pretty much having the run of the place! 😊

Hired to remove a skunk from my property. Completely ineffective, skunk remains there and still wanted to charge me for the service. Wasted my time for a week and now I have to go find a different business.
Rude and antagonistic over the phone. They came and pulled the trap early from my property when I made it clear I had no problem paying for the service provided they actually removed the skunk. I'm not paying to have an unmonitored box on my yard for weeks.
To be clear it was their decision to remove the trap early. The "reduced cost" was if they kept the unmonitored trap in my yard for weeks and were unsuccessful. This was not a service provided to me out of understanding but instead a person reacting poorly and not being confident in the services they provide. This was a waste of my time when I could have gone through a more professional service apparently.
I am perfectly fine paying by for the actual service. They did me no favours here, this was poor customer service.
