I was referred here for root canal treatment in December 2020 as my dentist wasn't able to resolve the problem. The treatment was painless and I was reassured throughout. I had a crown fitted by my dentist and at my follow up appointment today with Dr Billis he could see that my crown needed a slight adjustment. He explained everything at every stage. Efficient & polite welcome on arrival from reception and professional service from Dr George Billis throughout.

There is little more important than having a quality dentist you can trust and admire. Having had a number of dentists that rated from ok to average l had the good fortune to meet George Billis. Simply put, George is in a class of his own. It is not without good reason he is a leading teacher trainer for dentists. When George moved practice from Crawley to Burgess Hill l had no hesitation moving there with him despite having to rely on publuc transport. In fact if he moved to Newcastle l would travel there to stay with him without hesitation! The whole Burgess Hill Gateway experince is top class, from Christine and the receception team, to the hygenist. If you are not happy to accept average when it comes to dental care, I strongly, strogly recomend George and his team. Steve Bangay.

The hygienist is very attentive to their patients needs, takes the time to ensure you are aware of what they are doing at each stage and regularly checks that you are not uncomfortable in any way. I have had root canal treatment to relieve infection and establish a firm foundation for a crown to be fitted. Mr George Billis was extremely competent and informative and has followed up the treatment to ensure it was successful. I was referred to Gateway by my nhs dentist after being told by the hospital that I was going to loses 3 front teeth due to an aggressive cyst. After meeting with Dr. Billis we agreed to a plan to remove the cyst and perform a procedure to encourage bone regrowth. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic my follow up appointment was delayed by a year, but bone regrowth is proceeding apace. As a very nervous patient the care and consideration I received was brilliant and would recommend them to any nervous patients, and encourage everyone to get a second opinion with them.

Dr Billis did a fairly complex root canal treatment for me a few months back. I would definitely recommend him. The treatment was as comfortable as a root canal can be and Dr Billis’s professional manner reassured me that I was getting the best treatment possible. I was very impressed with the result.
