BEST GLAZE OWING THOUSANDS OF POUNDS TO US. WE HAVE BEEN SPEAKING TO CITIZENS ADVICE CONSUMER SERVICE / TRADING STANDARDS AS A MATTER OF URGENCY. NOW THAT BEST GLAZE HAVE APPLIED TO BE STRUCK OFF COMPANIES HOUSE, THIS WOULD AFFECT OUR CHANCES OF RETRIEVING THE DEPOSIT THAT WE PAID THEM - THOUSANDS OF POUNDS. IT WOULD BE A VERY GOOD IDEA TO CONTACT THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FOR HELP BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.

Bestglaze Following my previous review about this company and its owner Mr Thomas Luke defaulting on my conservatory order - sorry stealing my Money - it appears that many others are in a similar position - It makes me very angry that it seems that they/he has been defaulting on orders since January 2023 but was still taking orders up to September with as it happens no intention of honouring them - he is no more than a common criminal but unfortunately the Police and Action Fraud say there is no evidence ?? so they cannot pursue this - frustrating y

Like several others on here, we have fallen victim to this company. Having paid more than £13,000 to them for a conservatory that has never materialised. Best Glaze had our money in 2022. Despite start dates that came and went nothing happened. We are understanding, patient people, we thought it was a matter of waiting for the works to start. It was a while before we realised what happened. A Search of Companies House did not flag anything untoward; a local company just down the road with large advertising boards along the A39. It did not occur to us that our money has in fact been stolen. We had other plans for our home which depended on Best Glaze. We are so angry and dissappointed. We paid in good faith and trusted them.

They have taken our deposit and now have gone bust. This was taken today at 2.30 pm. They have taken other people's money and we are now in consultation with our bank to try to retrieve the thousands they have taken from many disgruntled customers who have not had their goods delivered and fitted.

Took our deposit and first payment in Jan . Didn’t respond to emails /phones.This has happened to many others , in some cases thousands of pounds lost . Do not deal with this company or future companies that the director may hold .

Beware of this business - I have recently placed an order with them for a conservatory and paid a hefty deposit but now they appear to have disappeared from the face of the earth - not responding to e mails or calls and their premises appear to be closed up - if you can get hold of them avoid doing business with them

We entered into a Contract with Best Glaze for a new Conservatory in March this year and paid a hefty deposit. After much chasing, we were eventually informed installation would commence on 4 Sept. Nobody turned up on that day and despite numerous emails, calls and voicemails to their offices and all the published contact numbers we could not reach anyone, and have not had any response at all to date. We have no idea if and when installation will now commence. Very worrying for us and extremely disappointing.

You make an appointment for ther surveyor Tony to go & mesure for new windows and they can't be bothered to turn up & they don't phone to give an explanation very disappointing and won't be recommending them to any one.

Bestglaze recently completed a large conservatory for us and we are absolutely delighted with the result finding we have a beautiful light room flowing from indoor to outdoor living and in which we spend the majority of our time. Bestglaze carried out the project with consummate skill and professionalism and the result is clear for all to see in the attention to detail and the excellent workmanship. The work was carried out by various teams each with their area of expertise and each and every one of them was a pleasure to have around. Nothing was too much trouble; small issues were dealt with straightaway, all mess was cleared away and we missed their cheery faces and fun banter when they left. A huge thank you to you all.

The whole experience was great with Best Glaze. Communication was always friendly and fast. It took only a couple of days to get an appointment, and also to fit the door once it had arrived. The fitting was quick without much mess or damage, even though the door itself caused a few problems to start with. Very happy with the product and the service, would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Best Glaze have recently completed our real roof Conservatory they were extremely professional, the finished room looks stunning and all the work was done to a very high standard. Called for a quote for installation of patio doors. Job required removal of the kitchen window and then removal of the wall beneath. Paul came round the day after my call to quote for the job and 6 weeks later we have beautiful patio doors leading out to our garden. The lads that did the work were friendly, respectful of my home. They cleaned up at them end of each day. Would highly recommend Best Glaze Windows and doors and would use then again.

Superb service, the team were very professional and skilled workers. They were friendly, polite and very hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble, they were happy to explain what they were doing and why. They cleaned as they went and there was no mess left over at the end of the job. The results were exactly what we wanted, and any communication with the office was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to recommend Bestglaze to anyone.

The first stage of three has just been completed. This comprised of replacement windows with a conservatory/extension and more windows to follow. When dealing with them it very quickly became evident that Best Glaze is a small company but, once I adjusted to this, I cannot fault them. Above all they care and want to have satisfied customers. Their workmanship and the products used are first class. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the fitting team was really excellent. They cared about the finished work, they cared about our home, there was no mess and they did exactly what was required. When choosing Best Glaze I was a little sceptical about the repeated good reviews. Based on work to date they deserved these and I would have no reservation in recommending them. I am now looking forward to the next stages!

1st class workmanship. More than happy. Had two Ultraframe roofs installed by another company both of which leaked badly and were never repaired. BestGlaze understood the problems immediately and knew exactly how to make good. The work was significant but carried out professionally and in a high quality. After several days of very heavy rain the roofs are now perfect. Highly recommended and a definite 5 star company.
