I ordered an electric guitar for my son for his birthday from Musicmaker. I had been on the phone to Aidan a couple of times and he was so helpful. I had ordered the guitar so late but I was delighted when it arrived so quickly, so a big thank you. We had a very happy son on the morning of his birthday, he loves the guitar. I would definitely recommend buying from Musicmaker.

I bought an acoustic guitar on Saturday from the Exchequer St. shop, I could not have had better service! The shop is large and well laid out, the staff were very attentive without being pushy, Aodán (not sure of his spelling) helped me to discern what size and tonewood suited me best within my budget. He made several trips to the store to let me try other guitars that were not on display. He assisted all the way through to a sale and gave a discount on the price listed also. Thanks very much. Brought a guitar for my daughters birthday here recently, I actually ordered the wrong one online! Ben and Joey were so helpful, cancelling the first order and getting me the right guitar as I know nothing about musical instruments. Have to say their communication was second to none. They were brilliant, very knowledgeable, sound lads. Excellent customer service. Recommend Musicmaker highly if you need a bit of music in your life. I live in Cork but I’m usually in Dublin every few months and MM tends to be my first stop. I play acoustic guitar and MM has a great selection with a nice wood-panelled acoustic department for sitting and playing. There’s no sales pressure whatsoever even when you spend an hour trying this and that. I got a very sweet Martin OOO-15m here 4+ years ago (sadly though, MM no longer stocks Martin). One last comment is that the staff aren’t even slightly ageist, and this is something you really appreciate in your 50s. I wish other businesses would take note.
