Do not use this company. I feel like I have been scammed and cheated- my fault for not doing more due diligence. They quoted me £700+ including VAT to have 3 AC units 'serviced', which was asked to be paid in full in advance to secure the appointment. The tech arrived and spent less than 90 minutes and only rinsed the filters under running water and advised that a 'deep clean' would be required, which would have cost a further £350. I'm sure the tech's hourly rate, but I'm sure it isn't £500/hour and the work done was completely basic. There's zero justification for the price for the work involved and when I emailed the company to raise this feedback, I have had zero response or acknowledgement. I cannot give zero stars but would if I could and STRONGLY advise not to use this company for your AC unit servicing.
As a side, the tech who came to do the work, was perfectly polite, professional and efficient. If I could hire him directly again, I'd consider it but not via this company.
Do not use this company. They serviced my 3 Daikin AC units in July. In August, one of them started leaking. Beginning of September, one completely stopped cooling and working. These units are 3 yrs old and all of them have been perfectly fine until these guys serviced it. When I ask them to come and have a look at these issues, they keep asking for additional call out charges. Avoid at all costs!!

Be Cool serviced Montagu Coachworks air-conditioning units this morning and I must imply done a fabulous job in ensuring out units was serviced to the correct standard.
Manhoe was professional and wasted no time servicing our units and going the extra mile to make sure it's running as it should and efficiently, such fantastic employees should not go unnoticed in the trade.
They completed the job without disrupting our site business. We will use them again in the months ahead.

I strongly advise caution when dealing with this company.
We contacted them to report a fault with our fridge and paid a £180 call-out fee. The engineer identified an issue with the fan and charged us an additional £390 for a follow-up visit and repair.
However, during the second visit, he then reported a new issue with the condenser. As a result, a new fan was installed in a fridge that still doesn’t work, leaving us £570 out of pocket and with no resolution.
I would like to believe the initial diagnosis was simply incorrect, but this experience has led me to question the company’s transparency and approach to customer service.
Despite several email exchanges, it became clear they were unwilling to take responsibility or make any genuine effort to resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services.

For transparency, we’d like to clarify the facts:
You contacted us regarding a fridge fault. Our engineer attended under our standard call-out fee of £150 + VAT, diagnosed a faulty fan, and also advised of a likely compressor issue due to excessive noise and poor maintenance. This was explained on-site to your staff, documented in the job report, and signed on the day. The same note was also included on the final invoice.
We then issued a written quotation for the fan replacement at £325 + VAT, which again clearly stated the risk of compressor failure. You approved the quotation and instructed us to proceed.
At the second visit, we replaced the fan as agreed. Unfortunately, the compressor failed at that stage an outcome we had already highlighted in writing. This was again documented and signed for onsite.
All works were carried out exactly as quoted and approved. We also extended a goodwill discount offer that covers our cost only, which was not accepted.
It’s also worth noting that we have successfully completed four previous jobs for you, all without issue. We are therefore especially disappointed that this review does not reflect the longstanding and professional service relationship we’ve built.
We remain available should you wish to discuss this further.
