If this food was made in a non vegan restaurant, I would be happy they at least tried to have some vegan options. For this to be an all vegan eatery, the food was very plain. Mostly just beyond meat products heated up, which wasn't worth the long wait. The service was absolutely awful. Definitely won't return again.

Might not be worth the hype. Ambiance was on point. However, they are reservation ONLY and it’s not stated on the site, and reservations are not on their site. There is no place it’s even mentioned. The hostess mistyped my number and gave my table away. Then when placing the order to-go, the to-go order person was stopping and talking to every friend on staff and at the bar. He left me waiting knowing I requested a beverage from the bar for my wait for 20+ minutes with no updates. I’ll leave this place for uber eats

Bar Vegan’s food exceeded expectations. It is above and beyond one of the Best Vegan restaurants I’ve tried. Last month, January 2025, one of my “brothers from another mother” Tony and I decided to try it for lunch. We both were pleasantly surprised that our food tasted as good as if not better than food with animal products, e.g, meat and cheese. We both ordered the Cheesesteak Combo. It was one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever eaten. Tony was also pleased with his food. The quality of the food was evident, the portions were good, and there was an abundance of flavor. I ordered the Lemon Pepper Chik’n Salad as take out for my husband. The salad was so good and tasty, he said he couldn’t believe it wasn’t real chicken! We are looking forward to dining there together to try other items on the menu.
As a group with varying dietary preferences, we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the vegan bar at Ponce City Market. The 'beef' cheesesteak was spot-on, and the sides were all delicious. But the real revelation was the Brussels sprouts. Honestly, we couldn't stop eating them! Even the non-vegans in our group were raving. This place proves that vegan food can be incredibly satisfying and flavorful
There was even a dope live DJ but it was just a little too loud for a late lunch vibe.
I arrived on a weekday and there was no wait but nobody was at the host stand or door to greet me. After a few moments, one of the staff instructed me to sit anywhere. My server was nice and the music by the DJ was mostly good. I think I hyped myself up for the food and wasn’t particularly blown away by anything besides my mocktail. It was good, but left much to be desired. I think I spent about $50-55
