Bart cares about 2 things. Bart cares about Bart, and Bart cares about money. He's very knowledgeable of the law and has a lot of experience, but If you hire him, you will become an Account - nameless and faceless as far as Bart is concerned. His disregard to customer service and his greed render his knowledge and experience ineffective. Bart's values, emotions and care stand on one principle - money. His only goal will always be to get as much money from the Account. If you hire Bart, you will also have to become his secretary and constantly remind him of important dates, and more importantly remind him to actually work on your case. I hired him more than 7 years ago to work on a simple case, a case that could be resolved within a short time by a competent lawyer. Instead now, 7 years later and thousands of dollars later, I need to hire another lawyer to finish a case I could have won 7 years ago. He tends to disappear for weeks, sometimes for months without responding to emails, texts or voicemails - complete silence.
I reached out to this office in late 2020. Bart was careful to study my case. I think he has good expertise and will take care of clients. However, I can't really say much because I was unable to afford his services. Too rich for my blood at the time, yet I still think he is a good one if you can afford him.
I paid Barton Levine for a will and last testament, and have no received it. I began the process in September 2020, and after some correspondence with him, I contacted his office in early December to check on the status of the will. Levine told me he had sent me the will in mid-November. I asked for the tracking number. He said he would have to look for it and get back to me, which he did not. I asked him to send me another will. He refused, saying he was in Florida and the matter would have to wait until he returned to his NYS offices in early January. I then phoned him, and he told me he was very ill and could not send out the will. Two weeks later, he emailed me, giving me a date upon which I should receive the will, and to contact him if I did not receive it. I did not receive the will on that date. When I emailed him, my emails (three of them) were blocked. When I phoned his office to ask for the tracking number of the envelope containing my will, a secretary told me she did not have that information. I paid for a will in full last autumn, and I'm still waiting for it.

I am truly sorry to learn of Robert's displeasure with our services. We go out of our way to provide our client's with very best services. In this case, Robert was charged $875 for a sophisticated Will, a Durable General Power of Attorney, a Health Care Proxy and a HIPPA document. I am compelled to note that Robert fails to mention the fact that a complete package of his estate planning documents was sent to him by Priority Mail under Tracking Number 9405-5118-9956-4100-2961-65 and, according to USPS Tracking was delivered to his doorman building on 11/17/20 at 12:12 p.m. When Robert advised me in mid-December that he hadn't received the package, he was, in fact, provided with the USPS Tracking Number. Nevertheless, following a brief illness, I personally prepared a duplicate estate planning package at no additional charge and sent it out on January 19, 2021, by USPS Priority Mail under Tracking No, 9405-5118-9956-0880-8627-98. USPS confirmed that this duplicate package was also delivered to his doorman building. Upon receiving USPS confirmation, we reached out to Robert to make sure that he did, in fact, receive the second package. It should be noted that we have yet to hear back from Robert, and assume that he received the package. While our e-mail system was down for several days in January, it is now fully operational. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will be happy to assist Robert with the execution of his estate planning documents, and answer any further questions he may have.
Mr. Bart handle my case that was really complicated and took his time understanding it. He is very easy to work with and guides you though the ruff time you might be having. I went to several lawyers before meeting Bart and all told me they couldn't help me. thank the lord i found him!!
I found Bart through a NAMI referral. I needed a reasonably-priced lawyer who was well versed in the area of special needs trust for my disabled sister. Not only was Bart knowledgeable in this highly specialized area, he also demonstrated compassion toward my sister's needs. He understood what we needed, guided us through the legal maze to set up her trust, and counseled me as the trustee on how to manage her trust. I continue to use Bart on an as-needed basis because he's someone my sister and I can trust. Plus his fees are so reasonable compared with other attorney's we've consulted with.
I want to thank Bart and his team for taking on our case when no one else would. He patiently persisted for so long without any up front payment tackling difficult issues relating to international laws.
We really appreciate all that you did to make our dream happen Bart. Thank you so very, very much,
Barton is the person to go to that you can trust and depend on. He took my 2 cases under his wing and handled all effectively and really took care of my dad and I . Never made us wait for a response, always called us right back and has such integrity I trust him with all. I highly recommend you reach out to him for all your needs and I intend to refer everyone to him.
I had used Barton Levine for my bankruptcy issues and found him very professional. I even recommended by cousin who was very pleased with his services. Mr. Levine, as busy as he is, will find time to return calls and talk to you. He is very professional.I will still recommend him to anyone who needs his services.
