Very efficient booking and handling of my request for boiler service and maintenance. Actual maintenance was extremely good and the price was held to the same as the past year, possibly two! Very happy and would wholeheartedly recommend. Kieran in the office is very organised and fast to respond. Can't fault this local company.
Replaced leaking toilet cistern.
Replaced leaking toilet ballcock, appt @ 1500-1600 young man arrived 1515, job completed and left @ 1535, excellent job as part of supply pipe had to be removed and replaced with a flexihose, explained working of new cistern as old one was a ballcock assembly, all old materials taken away, (although my recycle bin was offered), and cleared away, impressive work. Invoice in line with published prices, email arrived next day and paid in full, folowed by an email receipt. M.E.WAKEFIELD.
They are responsive and seem professional, but I paid over £ 1000 to have my house heating thermostats simplified and installed. The result is a system that is not simple and does not allow one to adjust the temperature a degree st a time
I phoned The out of hours number for Baldwin and Salter early on Saturday December 28th, my heating had failed to come on, my husband's funeral was on December 30th and the whole family were coming to the house first. Roland came out that morning , diagnosed the problem, and amazingly came back at 9.30 on the Sunday morning to fit the part. My grateful thanks for your compassion and ensuring I had a warm house for Monday morning. Roland, you are a star!

Absolutely disappointed with there service. You have canceled 2 appointment with me. I need the Lpg commercial check done for my event and booked it on the 20th of November to be checked, so it's ready for the 7th of December. They didn't turn up and today the 5th of December they email to cancel again. I have now lost my event of this Saturday. Words fail me to describe how annoying I am right now. I will never do business with you again.
Absolutely amazing service from the first conversation about updating our bathroom. We spent time in the showroom discussing the kind of thing we had in mind and were supported planning this. Luke , Sam , Paul and the team then began converting our separate toilet and bathroom into the most incredible , fantastic new bathroom. Everyone worked to an exceptionally high standard and skillfully adapted and altered things along the way to make it perfect. We absolutely love it. Thank you James and team 😊
Had a bad experience
This company supposed to replace the water cylinder in our flat and rebuild the wood base/platform underneath. They didn't clean up their mess (they just swipped under the base all their waste, stained the carpet, left their dirtyhands fingers all over the walls and doors) and did a very sloppy job bulding the base (used robish looking piece, old original piece taken from the previous base and two small new pieces) where they cut pieces unevenly, left huge holes around and between the lines/pipes. In addition, they change the date of installation and have to come again to redo the base; the base that you see on the pictures are the final. If I would know they offer such unprofessional services, I would never hire them for the job.

Complete boiler works
Absolutely amazing service from the initial call out to the complete installation of a new boiler system. The quote was very detailed and the actual job was carried out with as minimal impact to us as possible. James and Simon - who I don't think stopped working from the minute he got here to when he left each day- clearly take a lot of pride in their workmanship and this really showed. Thank you so much 😊

I have an Airbnb cottage and new October 2023 regulations mean I need a Gas Safety certificate for it, and another for my own home as I have a lodger. Neil came to do these. He was efficient, tidy and thorough. He is a real professional with a lovely manner. A real credit to the company. THANKYOU 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Bathroom refit
Baldwin Salter refurbished our bathroom and did an incredible job.
From choosing the fixtures and fittings to completion of the job, everything was just great. Luke and Chloe who did the work are a credit to the company. Two great young people who were really cheery throughout the job. They left the bathroom clean and tidy at the end of each day and at the end of the job, the bathroom was almost spotless. Very happy.
