I phoned The out of hours number for Baldwin and Salter early on Saturday December 28th, my heating had failed to come on, my husband's funeral was on December 30th and the whole family were coming to the house first. Roland came out that morning , diagnosed the problem, and amazingly came back at 9.30 on the Sunday morning to fit the part. My grateful thanks for your compassion and ensuring I had a warm house for Monday morning. Roland, you are a star!

NOT RECOMMEND IT.
Absolutely disappointed with there service. You have canceled 2 appointment with me. I need the Lpg commercial check done for my event and booked it on the 20th of November to be checked, so it's ready for the 7th of December. They didn't turn up and today the 5th of December they email to cancel again. I have now lost my event of this Saturday. Words fail me to describe how annoying I am right now. I will never do business with you again.

Amazing, the office was so helpful and efficient. The tiler
was brilliant and worked so hard and made the bathroom look amazing. Also, the electrician was helpful, and the work was done so well.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Absolutely amazing service from the first conversation about updating our bathroom. We spent time in the showroom discussing the kind of thing we had in mind and were supported planning this. Luke , Sam , Paul and the team then began converting our separate toilet and bathroom into the most incredible , fantastic new bathroom. Everyone worked to an exceptionally high standard and skillfully adapted and altered things along the way to make it perfect. We absolutely love it. Thank you James and team 😊

Had a bad experience
This company supposed to replace the water cylinder in our flat and rebuild the wood base/platform underneath. They didn't clean up their mess (they just swipped under the base all their waste, stained the carpet, left their dirtyhands fingers all over the walls and doors) and did a very sloppy job bulding the base (used robish looking piece, old original piece taken from the previous base and two small new pieces) where they cut pieces unevenly, left huge holes around and between the lines/pipes. In addition, they change the date of installation and have to come again to redo the base; the base that you see on the pictures are the final. If I would know they offer such unprofessional services, I would never hire them for the job.

Complete boiler works
Absolutely amazing service from the initial call out to the complete installation of a new boiler system. The quote was very detailed and the actual job was carried out with as minimal impact to us as possible. James and Simon - who I don't think stopped working from the minute he got here to when he left each day- clearly take a lot of pride in their workmanship and this really showed. Thank you so much 😊

Made 3 appointments to have our boiler serviced, 1st was cancelled by them and the next 2 they didn’t bother to show up. No phone calls or apology and waited in all day for nothing. They asked if I would like to make a 4th appointment, err, no thanks.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE:
I have an Airbnb cottage and new October 2023 regulations mean I need a Gas Safety certificate for it, and another for my own home as I have a lodger. Neil came to do these. He was efficient, tidy and thorough. He is a real professional with a lovely manner. A real credit to the company. THANKYOU 😊 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Bathroom refit
Baldwin Salter refurbished our bathroom and did an incredible job.
From choosing the fixtures and fittings to completion of the job, everything was just great. Luke and Chloe who did the work are a credit to the company. Two great young people who were really cheery throughout the job. They left the bathroom clean and tidy at the end of each day and at the end of the job, the bathroom was almost spotless. Very happy.

Had our bath changed and a new mixer shower fitted, as well as our plastic side roof + guttering completely replaced, which had been leaking for years.
The work done was brilliant throughout. Matt was very patient with his planning and estimates, and carefully captured what we needed doing in detail.
Justin and Colin were both amazing over the few days they were doing the work (with Jake also on the electrics side), and were extremely meticulous and took a lot of time and care with everything they did. The foreman Roland was also checking in most days to ensure that everything was going well and if there were any issues.
You could see that they cared about the work they were doing and didn't want to do any shortcuts to get the job done quicker. They were open and honest about everything, and discussed any potential issues there could be as work went on and always came to a decent solution.
Really felt in good hands and both were very friendly and great to have a chat with too during their breaks. Then there was an surprise bathroom gift at the end, which was a very neat and unexpected touch and just added that extra level to everything.
Very professional and come highly recommended for anyone needing any work doing.
