Baffling. Turned up last week, had a chat with a mechanic who clearly knew his stuff, and was told to come back today first thing. Perfect. Arrived this morning at 0800 when Google says it's open. Nobody there. Waited and waited (their own website says 0830) and somebody appeared about 0905. Suggested we come back after 1000. Fine. Went back around 1130. The two we'd spoken to before were nowhere in sight, nobody seemed to know where they were, and clearly the parts we needed hadn't been ordered. I'm just baffled. What the heck happened here over the weekend is anybody's guess. But they had my phone number - I saw them write it down, if they'd known there was going to be a problem somebody could/should have called and saved me both return trips. I have no idea how businesses continue to operate if they just don't put in even the lowest levels of customer care.

Great garage, fair prices and knowledgeable mechanics. I wish I had discovered them earlier. They are great with VWs and have a ‘can do’ attitude. I travel an hour to take my VW transporter to them. They are calm and clear in how they explain things. They come up with solutions to, sometimes difficult problems, and don’t charge the Earth. Highly recommended.

Sadly I had a terrible experience with AWS, they did not “keep me moving”. Took my t4 in with occasional starting issues and a leaky windscreen. Was told drop it in on Monday and it’ll be fixed by the end of the week. Long story short they ended up having my van (daily drive) for well over 6 weeks! They didn’t keep me updated (until we called them), they also took it upon themselves to strip my fuel pump without either giving me a price first or having the parts to rebuild it in stock. This caused my van to become un drivable until parts which were on back order arrived as well as charging over £300 over their original quote (and what other rebuild companies which did have the parts were charging) for the privilege. When I finally went to collect my van (which they claimed to have test drove), the throttle stuck on as I left their yard, (caused by something having not being tightened properly), the next day the coolant warning light came on as the coolant was too low (radiator not bled properly), at this point I noticed my battery cover was missing which I had to ask them to send in the post. Not what I expected from a specialist and being over charged just added insult to injury. Disappointing really as I saw the body work they do on the Facebook videos and it’d have been handy to find a local specialist who could do that kind of work. I was offered a free service which I declined.

AWS autos! Honestly you guys have been absolutely fantastic. I had brought my car from another dealership 6 months ago and unfortunately it broken down several times and then finally died 😢 the other dealership would take no responsibility what so ever to fix my car!. but AWS-autos come to collect my car and offered their services in such a short time and they were so quick at getting my car collected. Thankyou to matt for getting the ball rolling and for kelly for helping deal with the finance team. Kelly has stayed in contact and never left me in the dark about what was going on. Theyve been fantastic with everything theyve done. The car is finally going back 🙏 Thankyou so much AWS-autos Definitely would recommend you to anyone 👌

My T5 unfortunately broke down. I managed to get my vehicle to AWS Auto Services at a moments notice. Straight away Front of house was fantastic. Excellent customer service through out the repair. I was always kept informed of the vehicles progress. The mechanic assisted me straight away and found the exact issue, 4 glow plugs, EGR valve and ABS issue. He was outstanding straight to the point explained everything to me and the work was completed in a great time, fair price but overall I would 100% use this garage again and would recommend to Family and Friends.
