After a previous sale with a different solicitor where I often felt out of the loop and found communication difficult, working with AVRillo was a completely different experience. From the start, their communication was excellent. The online portal is easy to use, regularly updated and shows a full case history of emails and documentation in and out. Even when you haven’t received a direct update, it’s reassuring to be able to see that your file is actively being worked on. I also really appreciated that there is a team handling your case rather than relying on one individual (a special mention to Ella, Emily and Tom). The call surgeries were particularly helpful when you just needed to speak to someone and talk things through. It genuinely felt like a collaborative effort between myself, AVRillo and my estate agents, all working towards the same goal. We were able to exchange a leasehold within 11 weeks. The only small change I would suggest is that some emails and documentation can be quite lengthy and a little overwhelming at times and the automated emails could perhaps be filtered more efficiently. That said, this is a minor point compared to the overall quality of service. Overall, I would highly recommend AVRillo to anyone looking for a proactive and communicative conveyancing team.

I was impressed with the proactivity AVRillo displayed throughout my purchase. The communication was clear and instructions were easy to follow. The timeline for my purchase was incredibly fast, going from offer accepted to completion in just 50 days for a 0 chain, first-time-buyer purchase, which was fantastic. I do feel that costs did creep up, but I was selecting options to expedite my purchase, which was explained. The online portal is a great feature, making it simple to track progress without needing to email or call the firm. For constructive feedback, some of the template forms and emails had spelling and formatting inconsistencies, and these could be checked and standardised to make conveyancing with AVRillo a near-perfect service, against a background of low client-solicitor trust and slow conveyancing process. I recommend!

I subsequently requested clarification but did not receive a response. Additionally, none of the emails contained a name or signature, which did not convey a professional standard of communication.

With a long and complicated chain and multiple solicitors involved, there were plenty of opportunities for things to stall or unravel but Carmen was consistently on top of every detail. She was responsive, clear, and proactive, keeping matters moving even when other parties in the chain were slow or unhelpful. Carmen chased where needed, explained issues in a calm and practical way, and gave us confidence that someone was genuinely managing the legal process rather than just reacting to it. What really stood out was her commitment to getting the deal over the line despite obstacles outside her control. Without Carmen’s persistence and professionalism, I’m not convinced this transaction would have completed when it did.
