My husband and I go to Avona for various laser hair removal treatments that are suitable for black skin. They have the equipment to effectively treat individuals with more melanin and for that reason I will stick with them because this is so hard to find. Not to mention how affordable their services are. I hope the prices don't change for the foreseeable future.

Worst experience ever. The laser hair removal procedure started without cleaning or shaving the area. It was done in 10 seconds. Upon asking, she said that the hair will automatically shed. I could see all the hair still intact on my skin. I have been getting laser hair removal treatments for over a year now. And this was the most unprofessional. No standard procedure, nothing. The promotion of $25 -$30 attracts you. But I did waste my money rather than saving it.

Hi Diksha, I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience. It sounds like the procedure might not have been fully explained. Laser treatment does take time, as it targets the hair root to prevent regrowth. Initially, the hair will fall out and regrow, but with each session, it will become finer, thinner, and lighter until it's nearly gone. After just one session, it's normal to still see hair. Typically, it takes 8-12 sessions to achieve the desired results. For facial hair, it's okay to laser over it without shaving, as the laser specifically targets the root. With your next session I will give you 10% off and hope you have a better experience!

I went in for a consultation, and Avona, was so personable and friendly made me feel very comfortable. We decided on hair removal, and also tightening of the skin. She offered payment plan very reasonable priced. Squeezed me in for laser hair removal with Jalaina even though I didn't have an appt. She is great. Explained everything in full detail. No pain, which I was surprised. No redness which made me feel wonderful. Great girls highly recommend SKNN to all. Very pleased. No waiting either.
