As someone who has dealt with chronic hip and lower back pain for the past four years, including one unsuccessful hip surgery, failed physical therapy treatments and a decrease in many of my daily activities, I was desperate for a remedy to the discomfort I was feeling. As I was hesitantly about to schedule a second surgery, I stumbled upon shock wave therapy as a non-invasive alternative to surgery. This interconnected mind-body approach allowed me to naturally face the root cause of a lot of my injuries and re-correct my movements for increased strength, stability and confidence as I slowly started working my daily exercises back into my life.
