I was in the market for a company to install an adjustable comb on my stock. I called Artisan Stock and Gunworks and they sent me photos of a beautiful job. Based on this work, I sent my $10K stock in and they absolutely ruined it. They then tried to cover up the mistake with black epoxy, calling it an “acceptable” job. This craftsmanship is not acceptable under any circumstances and left me with no choice but to find another stock maker to fix the mistake, costing another $2200 to fix. Will never use this company again and advise others of the same.

Client was told that we might hit the drawbolt hole with the waterjet.
Photos and videos were sent to show the progress of the job including the filled hole and the extended drawbolt.
After the new drawbolt was inserted black epoxy was used to level out the top of the cut.
The client was not pleased, therefore we sent him photos of a completely bedding comb which we have done before and he refused.
This Gentleman did not want to be satisfied.

Ethan was very helpful in providing me information on my custom grips for my 1911 Wilson Combat. Excellent communication. If I had questions, he answered them quickly when I got to Grips, I was very impressed by the craftsmanship and the detail on these grips! I couldn’t be happier! Will work with this company again in the future!
