Shawn came to inspect some damage in our fireplace. ( It’s 46 years old). After careful inspection he found issues needing repair, but instead of trying to get a sale, he kindly told us that this was not something his company could do without costing us thousands of dollars. Told us to get more opinions and offered us alternatives. All for free.Who does that in today’s make a buck atmosphere! Highly recommend this company.

We reached out to this company a little over a year ago for an inspection on a home we were purchasing. They accommodated the short time frame we had and Ben was very informative and helpful for the entire process! A little over a year later we knew we knew we were going to need the chimneys it re-inspected and cleaned after maintenance that we had done. This time Sean came to do the inspection and cleaning. Sean was informative, efficient, very respectful and very kind. Moving forward this will be the only company that we contact, between the overall customer service, very fair pricing and the people that work there, this is a great company all around!

UPDATE 11/25: THESE liars / shvindl JUST POSTED A RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW. REVIEWS ARE STAYING UP. WE HAVE ALL THE CALL RECORDINGS including where your company tried to lie and say Gil (the guy you’re claiming used wrong word as if this is a matter of semantics when it’s not) was new & that’s why he gave wrong info and then when we confirmed we verified all info (Spanish and English) and that we had call recorded the story changed to him not being new anymore lol. KEEP DIGGING YOURSELVES DEEPER WITH LIES. WE DONT FEAR YOU. All of a sudden there’s restocking when last night you tried to bait & switch what Max agreed to by stating we need to sign a paper contract that we will remove reviews and then you will do what Max agreed to. HA! IF WE ARE SLANDERING YOU WHY DONT YOU THREATEN US LIKE YOU DID OTHER REVIEWER HUH? lol YOU TRIED THE WRONG MILITARY FAMILY HUN. LETS GO :) UPDATE 11/24 THEY JUST CALLED AND SAID THEY EILL ONLY HONOR A REFUND ONLY IF WE AGREED TO REMOVE REVIEW. NOPE. JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW SHADY THEY ARE. NOT REMOVING THE REVIEW AND WILL ADD IT EVERYWHERE. WE ALSO RECORDED THE CALL FROM “RON owner of company”. He states “it doesn’t matter that calls recorded “ lol yea okay bud we will see. RUN DONT WALK AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS. We got a call from Max at this company (we were sure to record the call) stating he approves to refund the deposit (he proposed this as an option for making it right) and will get with rest of company to confirm by tomorrow. Will communicate them keeping their end of the bargain once done so all can be aware of if they continue to be shady or not once confronted. More to come. COMPANY JUST EMAILED SAYING NO REFUND UNTIL WE CAN “come to an agreement”. We’ve asked them to relay in writing what agreement they are trying to have … interesting. Waiting until the initially agreed upon deadline of by tomorrow before we proceed. hopefully this saves someone else from dealing with their foolishness. Will update review by tomorrow STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. FILTER OUT FOR THE RECENT NEGATIVE REVIEWS THEY ARE REFLECTIVE OF OUR SAME EXPERIENCE ON THIS COMPANY’s SHADINESS. and when you try to confront them you’ll get hung up on. Disgusting unprofessional behavior. they claimed increase in pricing because panel had to be custom order and would take weeks to arrive . Different tech called today stating order is from the store and not custom so ready to install. We were like something isn’t right. We even verified in Spanish to ensure language barrier wasn’t the problem as they also had another person with them on the phone translating and we speak Spanish. We called company back complaining about shadiness and Chloe said manager would be reaching out. Man who called us back stated tech employee was “new” and doesn’t know what he was taking about. When we relayed that we recorded the call as CO is a 1 party consent state he then changed his story claiming oh nevermind he’s not new only the 1st tech was new and didn’t know blah blah. STAY CLEAR. To the other review stating they were threatened with a defamation lawsuit oh I hope they try that with us because lucky for them our business has a fantastic attorney.

We have closed a deal with the person on replacing refractory panels for her fireplace. At the day of the installation our half english speaking installer said that he picked up the materials at the “store” instead of the “manufacturer” and the client decided to go off based on that. She has made up her mind that we are no truthful (not even sure why) and she wanted to cancel the job because for her house you will not install a panel from a “store” (what ever that means). We have called her in an attempt to resolve the situation and even offered a full refund (despite having to pay restocking fee) and she decided to keep on going online and defame us trying to cause damage. Based on that we have decided not to proceed with the refund and to charge the full restocking fee that we were charged.

I used this place to clean and repair our wood burning fireplace in Nov 2025. Seemed like fair price and friendly service with Matt. However, I just got an email from one of their other costumers saying AR Chimney Pros sent them my personal info in an email multiple times and AR Chimney Pros never reached out to me about this breach in security.

Beware! Don’t believe the fear tactic! A Technician showed up for a basic $99 chimney sweep. Said my stove was installed incorrectly and isn’t up to code. Said it’s a huge fire danger (after it has worked fine for 5 years). Even called his supervisor who told me, “it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before.” I sent him away in order to have a third party inspector take a look. That inspector said the stove was absolutely fine. I then wrote a poor Google review for AR Chimney. After my initial review the owner, Ben called me and offered $200 for me to take the review down. I refused but willingly sent him the manual for my stove so he could review it and see what is required. He again insisted there were installation issues (having never personally seen the stove only pictures). I contacted a second third party chimney inspector who came in the following week and said my chimney is just fine. Referenced code and even reviewed the invoice of products for the original install. When I refused to take this post down, Ben, threatened a defamation lawsuit.

Two stars instead of one because the office personnel were helpful and easy to communicate with. Other than that I would have given a one star review. The technicians must have thought I was dumb or something because they quoted me “if we can’t get the stage 3 residue off it’s free otherwise it’s $750”. And stage 3 is heavy creosote and extensively dirty for those unaware. I’m no chimney expert BUT it was clearly stage 1 at best so just mildly dirty. And given a “if, then” quote is extremely unprofessional as well as the technicians being dressed in gym clothes I was already skeptical of the professionalism. Got another quote from another chimney sweep stating my chimney was far from stage 3 as I suspected and was able to get it cleaned and inspected for a fraction less f the $750 “if, then” quote from this business. BEWARE this company may try to scam you. When I turned down the cleaning the technicians also warned me how extremely dangerous it is to have a fire in the current condition my chimney was in so fear is also a tactic used here. Maybe I got some bad technicians I’m not sure but really bad look for AR Chimney and I will never reach out to them again.
