Aquaflame just replaced my 28 year old NG boiler and 8 year old hot water tank couple weeks ago, with a Rinnai i120CN Combination boiler. They provided an excellent, well-laid out proposal on the job, with detailed installation specifics. The price is very reasonable, compared to 5 other quotes that I had.
The whole job took 3 days over the weekend, as I have 6 zone radiant heating and DHW, and it was most convenient to my family. Thanks to their willingness to work with a tight schedule in the most accommodating manner. The installation was completed professionally, and I am very happy about the outcome and the system performance. Also, it frees up lot of spaces in the tight boiler room.
The installation was well organized and securely mounted on one wall with NG line, pipes, wires, valves, pumps and manifolds were well laid out, as you can see from the photos. Ray and Sam did an excellent job in finishing all the pipes rerouting, and exhaust vent pipes installation. They removed all the old equipment, carboards and junks, and even vacuumed the whole boiler area..... and no mess left behind.
The system performs very well so far, with expected slightly delayed DHW delivery. The new boiler is quiet and seems to run very efficiently. I guess the real test in energy saving would not be known till winter months.
They also provided me with all the paper work to apply for FortisBC rebates, and that helps a lot.
