We were in the lovely Cliff Cottage. Well equipped, spotless and inviting. A lovely private, romantic space and enjoyed the our private viewing deck overlooking the ocean, and the harvesting of lobsters off shore. Magical. Just a few kilometers to the outstanding Woodroad restaurant. Perfect location.
We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at the lighthouse cottage. The cottage was very unique and charming. Really glad we tried the sauna as this was such a special part of our trip! The property offers gorgeous sunsets in a private location and is reasonable driving distance from Cabot trail views and hikes. The staff were so accommodating and really went above and beyond. Thanks!
We stayed at Cabot coast just last weekend and had a great experience! The Observatory cottage was very clean and cozy, Stacey was a great host to say the least!
This cottage was secluded with a great view and the hot tub was a cherry on top, we did book the sauna as well but it was a very windy rainy day so we opted out but did walk down to check it out and wow so much effort and detail put into it, we were upset the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy it.. next time for sure!
We got engaged during our stay and I’m excited to come back, I would and have already recommended this place to everyone we know :)
So looking forward to what they have in the works for this place.

All I can say is “wow”! What a view! We arrived late at night and couldn’t see anything in the middle of a snowstorm. We woke up to an amazing view of the ocean. The octagon cottage was cozy, clean and beautiful. It was our wedding night and we were happy to arrive to a bottle of wine and warm house coats. There was no TV/internet which was perfect for us as we needed to unplug from the world. We are planning on coming back soon! A perfect getaway from the busy world
I have really struggled with what to write about this place, and how many stars to give it so I will just break it down.
PROS:
-location
-views are SERIOUSLY amazing
-the sauna was definitely a highlight
-Cliff Cottage was spotless (but very dated)
CONS
-blatant lies on their website and all other accommodation sites that said there was:
-SaTV
-Wifi
-laundry
-telephone
-the sauna takes a couple of hours to heat up. They give you access to it cold, so the first couple of hours that you pay for it you can't really "use" it as a sauna
-our shower was literally a trickle
We did genuinely enjoy our time as the view was amazing and the wood fireplace had a really nice ambience, but we were just very put off by the fact that their website had multiple false pieces of information. As a guest, I should not have to independently verify that everything listed on the site is accurate. It is a reasonable expectation that what a property owner has listed would be available. I had expected to be able to do work at the property, but the lack of wifi made that impossible. We had also expected to be able to do laundry, something else that we were told "wasn't normally allowed for guests... or a $15 charge". Additionally, it lists Cliff Cottage as "modern". There is nothing modern about the kitchen, loud appliances, or the loose tiles in the bathroom.
If they had been accurate in their representation, it would not have been a problem for us.

Jordan’s property was filled with lots of beautiful sights and the lighthouse was cozy and welcoming. We also got to experience the sea side sauna and a polar plunge in the near by brook which was the highlight of the night. Jordan was a outstanding host with quick response time, clean space and a bottle of wine :) would definitely recommend and stay again.
My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in The Lighthouse this past weekend. The cottage was cozy and spotless and the view was spectacular. The complimentary bottle of wine was a perfect touch. We spent some time on the private cove while taking in the breathtaking view, we will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Observatory 2 nights ago and all I can say is Oh My Goodness! The accommodation was spotless, the views are mind blowing and you're in your own little private area with you're own private viewing deck right on the cliff's edge. You certainly cannot go wrong at the Cabot Coast!
