We made a great choice to use Rob and AVHI for our home, termite, sewer and radon inspections. It was helpful to be able to follow him on most of the inspection and ask questions when they came up. He was able to explain clearly what he was doing and why. He seemed to be very thorough in checking and testing all aspects of the house, including the attic space, roof and gutters. The reports were ready in a timely manner and the info shared was important for moving forward and understanding the house better. I would recommend Rob and AVHI if you are looking for a good inspector.

Rob was incompetent! Claims certification in areas that he obviously doesn’t know well enough. He was destructive during his inspection. I’m likely to report him to the licensing board!

Erica, I was wondering who you were, as I looked through my records and discovered you are not one of my clients. In fact you are not even a home owner whose home I inspected. Turns out you are the daughter of someone whose home I inspected. I was not destructive during this inspection of your parents home. In fact I was quite considerate as I always am in people's homes. I talked with the buyer and buyer's agent, and they they were extremely pleased with my report and what they were able to learn about the house and repairs they were able to negotiate. The buyer's opinion of me is all that matters, and they were very happy with my work.
