This company has the worst customer service... since October I'm still waiting for a handle to open the specular door that they manufactured at NASA... what a bad job from its installation and manufacturing... but to receive the money it was the best attention... but warranty??? 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
BUYER BEWARE. I wish zero stars was an option. This company has absolutely no ethics and will not respond appropriately to any issue that arises.
Without a doubt this is absolutely the worst company l've ever worked with to date. I paid $7,480 for an impact rated double front door and installation of one large window. The doors have multiple imperfections in the glass, etching that is inside the two panes of glass.
Additionally, during installation it is very clear that the door was damaged. The person installing the door agreed with me that that was what happened while he was still at my house. I have text messages confirming that. I sent emails trying to get it resolved, including screenshots of text messages where I showed proof of the damage happened during installation. The company has continuously given me the runaround and kept saying they would work on it.
After the last time that I said I was going to file a complaint with the BBB, they said once again they would work on it but have once again become
unresponsive. Additionally, an impact window that this company installed for me has one panel that does not function properly and they were supposed to address that at the same time that the door was repaired, but that also was never addressed. I did write a bad review sooner as every time I reached out the company would tell me they were going to fix it and I did not want to hurt their business. But after 2 years I feel like l've given them more than enough time to correct this, and they are clearly never going to do what is right. I have paid an exorbitant amount for doors that are damaged and a window that does not work correctly. Each time that BBB has contacted this company they have responded and said that they would reach out to me to address the situation but then they never have followed through with actually helping beyond an email saying something along the lines of we will look into it and get back to you. I have proof of the company acknowledging that they damaged my door and I think they are not contacting me because they know they are responsible. Now magically their latest response to the BBB (October 2024) says that they weren't even aware of the issue and that the company is held in different ownership, which is extremely convenient. This company is an absolute nightmare to work with (and I worked with MANY contractors while renovating my home and had issues with absolutely NONE of the other ones) and I wouldn't wish working with them on my worst enemy.
American Impact Windows transformed our school with stunning new windows. They replaced the original 1960s windows, giving the campus a fresh, modern look. Current families and visitors often mention how bright and beautiful the classrooms appear. The exterior looks revitalized as well. Emil and his team were fantastic to work with—they managed permitting and inspections and completed the installation quickly and professionally once the windows were manufactured. We look forward to working with them again as we continue to upgrade our campus.

If I could give zero stars I would. Lack of response back to clients. I have been waiting over a year for them to finish the project. I signed the contract back in December 2023. Always an excuse, manager never available. Don’t expect them to call you back, 100 calls zero returned calls.
Horrible service. Put down $5000 down payment and 8 months later I haven't even received an update. Only update is I myself call and all I get is "soon". Still trying to communicate with them and no answer. This is unacceptable. Save time and money and think twice before dealing with this company

Avoid American Impact Windows and Doors – Unprofessional & Unresponsive
I strongly advise against using American Impact Windows and Doors due to their poor communication, failure to meet deadlines, and lack of professionalism.
I purchased an impact door from them on October 25, 2024, with an estimated lead time of 12 to 16 weeks per the contract. Since then, I have received zero proactive updates about delays.
In November 2024, before Thanksgiving, a company representative came to my home to complete everything required for a permit. However, when I checked the Miami Shores permit database on February 13, 2025, there was no open permit related to my door. This means the company either failed to submit it or is severely behind schedule without informing me.
On January 8, 2025, I received an email from my sales representative stating that my door had been ordered and should arrive soon. After hearing nothing, I followed up on January 17, asking for an ETA, but never received a response. Since then, I have made numerous phone calls, left multiple voicemails, and received no call back.
The only time I was able to speak with someone was on February 11, 2025. I was told that the owner, Emil, would call me the next day, but he never did. I have repeatedly called and spoken to David, requesting a conversation with Emil, but he has completely ignored my requests.
If you're looking for reliable impact windows and doors in Miami, I recommend finding a company with better customer service, transparent communication, and a proven track record. Avoid American Impact Windows and Doors unless you want delays, frustration, and zero accountability.

I have never encountered the level of apathy, discourtesy and carelessness I have with American Impact. Although my windows/doors are very nice, the repairs around them are unacceptably sloppy or not repaired at all. I will have to pay someone else to have it all redone. They offered to redo it, I declined. Concrete was dripped on my patio and not removed before it dried. Workmen showed up late, unannounced or not at all. It took 9 months to complete the project (theoretically, it's still not complete) although I gave them a 50% cash deposit when I signed the contract in April. I did not, nor will I, pay them the final $3000. So, I imagine, they are holding hostage the final inspection report and removal of window stickers, since I have received neither. I could go on and on. It’s appalling!
I unfortunately have to update this review to be the worst possible experience I’ve ever had. We always had to reach out for an update on our windows they never contacted us. Then when the time finally came we found out our order had been changed and no one contacted us about it. We’ve asked politely over and over again for this issue to be addressed and we keep getting told that we’ll get a call back. They are avoiding us and not solving the problem. Our order was changed to have 2 non matching windows in the same room and it looks absolutely ridiculous. Who approved this decision?! We just want at the very least for the windows to match and they won’t help. We’re livid and they took our money. I would advise everyone to steer clear.

This company is a scam, signed with them 6 months ago for one door, they have been making a bunch of excuses about production and BS, they cashed the check within a day of us giving the deposit, and now they don’t answer the phone or emails. This company should be reported and investigated. They steal from people .
I replaced 6 impact double doors in the fall of 2024. the quality of the doors is fantastic, and the team handling the installation was great. I would highly recommend their services for remodel/upgrade to impact doors.

I am giving a 1 star as there is no way to give 0. We signed our contract in May 2024 and supposedly permits were being submitted in Aug 2024. It is now November 2024 still no windows and no information from anyone at the company. Our sales rep Dwight was amazing but (I wonder why) he is no longer with the company. I should've paid attention to the bad reviews but you live and you learn.
Signed with this company for impact windows and doors months ago with a predicted completion date by end of September 2024. Since then, we have been told the windows and doors are still not even in the manufacturing process. The company avoids phone calls, and when we do reach them (on occasion, after calling from various numbers), we get the same run around and the “call again in two weeks” response. There is currently no predicted timeframe they can give us and no confirmation that the project will ever be done. VERY unhappy with this company at this time. If you are in the market for impact windows and doors in Miami or surrounding areas, I would recommend going elsewhere at this point. Will continue to update this review if progress is ever made.
Do NOT consider using this company!
I contracted to purchase and install a new front door in June 2024 and gave a 50% deposit of $2,300. For over 4 months, I have had little to no response from the company & it's President Miguel (Mike) Martinez. At this point I have zero confidence in the company and it's services and had my lawyer email the company & Mr. Martinez requesting a refund of my deposit. To this date, I have not received a response.
