I was an expecting mum who was looking for a helper to look after infant. Agent Estrella from the Orchard Branch sent a few profiles to us and we selected one who had experience looking after an infant. After hiring her, it turns out that the helper did not have any experience with infants at all. Her profile was not accurate. We did not know this until much later when the helper herself shared with us. Close to 3 months after being with us, she started to show very negative behavior (argues with me, always on the phone, threw away my baby's milk even before he finished drinking it, etc.) She was not competent in taking care of the needs of an infant. She was doing her job well at first (i.e. cooking and household chores) and thus we didn't have any negative feedback to share with the agent during their check that was done in the first month. We decided to terminate the helper's contract and send her back to the agency after dealing with her negative behaviour at the end of about 3 months. Estrella told us that we will have to pay for her lodging fees ($30/day) until she finds another employer while the agency still needs to refund us as we took her for only 3 months. 2 weeks into her lodging and there was still no update from the agency. I called them to get an update and I was told that the FDW rejected an employer whom she interviewed with. I told the agency that I will need an update in a week's time if she finds another employer else I would have to take other measures. The agency seemed to be dragging her transfer so as to earn the lodging fees as much as they could. Soon, we got an update that she found another employer and we approved her work permit transfer immediately. Got it approved 18 days after her lodging. We checked with the agency on how much has been incurred for the lodging, how much our refund will be and when the FDW will be transferred. Agent said she will get back to us but 8 days later, still no update. I called Estrella 2 times but she did not pick up her phone. Finally, I reached her through her office number and then she tells me that the FDW is still lodging and we still have to pay for her lodging until her new employer picks her (this is 29 days of lodging already). I asked why there was no update about this at all. The least they could do was to at least call us and tell us when the transfer will take place and not leave us hanging and paying for her lodging blindly. But she kept repeating that she will send us an email (which we never received at all). Even when I called her, she was still unsure of when the FDW will be transferred and she argues with me saying that we were the ones who terminated her contract and have to still pay up to 30 days of her lodging according to contract. Yes, agreed but the least she could do was to keep us updated. Agent Jill told us he will get Estrella to get back to us regarding our queries. 8 days later and she still did not get back to us and didn't pick up my call too. To sum up, - they did not send me a fit FDW who met our requirements. Her profile was not accurate (Estrella told us that this is on us because we interviewed her and we should have known and that we also did not give her any feedback when she called for the check in which was about 1 month later) - We're not going to get our refund and we have to top up another $200 plus as the agency has maxed out the 30 days of lodging - No updates were given at all until you call to ask Terrible experience with this agency thus far and would not recommend.

Lina, the lady officer, who was assisting me have been very prompt in rendering her service to me for the seeking of a domestic helper for my household need. And she was spot on in us getting the right traits of helper that we need. And her subsequent response was simply efficient and systematic in us to be able to get the helper to our household soon after. Kudos to 1st Allbest Maid Agency and Lina.

I recently got a maid Sri from Allbest agency Hougang Green , firstly location is very convenient as its around the neighbourhood and we were assisted by agency Mheg Kipte. Agency officer was not pushy , patient and answered to all my enquiries as a first time employer, allowed us time to consider the different maids available to hire . We are matched with Sri ,new indonesian helper and she is accommodating to the house environment well. Definitely will recommend AllBest agency to any friends of ours.

Using Allbest was our biggest mistake. They are a nightmare to work with.
