I was so pleased I followed up on a recommendation I had been given for Joh at Allison Tree Services, despite my being a bit of his area. He got back to me promptly, provided a fair quote for the work required, was extremely polite, professional and very knowledgeable about his subject. He did a great job, pruning a tree and shrubs in my garden (in the pouring rain) and left the garden neat and tidy. I can definitely recommend.

John McKenna of Allison Tree Services came in person to view my sick apple tree and was able to book us in fairly soon. Well qualified and helpful, he advised on treatment and carried it out with minimum disruption & no mess. All the wood has gone to be recycled and the apple tree gets a second chance. A lucky choice for me but also turned out to be the least expensive."

I made contact through the internet. John responded quickly, came to do the quote, set a date and turned up exactly when he said he would. He knows so much about local trees and was able to do a fabulous job on our very overgrown trees. Definitely recommend Allison Tree Services.

The team at Allison Tree Service did a fantastic job on some large oak trees. There was pressure to finish the job on time which they did so our grass courts could open up for the members. John and his team were excellent from the outset. He explained the works, clearly priced them and on the day turned up on time, was highly professional, taking care of our neighbours' boundaries and our lawn. When completed, he left the site very tidy (patios cleaned and branches removed).

John did a very good job despite the pouring rain. I have asked to trim my olive tree so it looks like a lollipop and that is exactly what John did. Good job at a reasonable price.
I would definately recommend the service.

John is a knowledgeable tree surgeon and always very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble - he does a lot of work in our development of flats and I had asked him to prune/substantially chop an overgrown Yew tree in our back garden (plus tidy up a few other shrubs). He did a great job, it’s a pleasure to deal with him and he left the place spotless. I didn’t trust our current gardeners to do the job half as well! Thanks John!
