My husband and I love living at Alas! We have lived here for 6 months and it’s been the best experience we’ve had. The leasing office staff is top notch. Derek and Edgar are awesome! They always respond to our calls and messages promptly. It’s going to be hard to find somewhere to live that tops this place. The maintenance staff is also quick to work on work orders and the staff doesn’t question you when there’s an issue, they just fix it. The amenities are great and the location is walkable and safe. Others have complained about homeless people being in the area but anywhere in the Denver area will have homeless people in the vicinity of your apartment. There isn’t a homeless person issue on this property. It is very clean and the hallways are mopped and cleaned frequently. Thank you guys for giving us a great experience and making us feel comfortable.

I have lived here 3 months and can attest that maintenance is quite slow/inept, packages are frequently stolen, and the property managers/sales associates are condescending simpletons. The location is great, but I will not renew my lease.

The moment I walked into the leasing office I was welcomed so warmly and knew I wanted to be a part of this community. Derek and Edgar have been so kind, patient, and very helpful in getting me organized and set up properly. Derek has helped facilitate my Amazon deliveries and has been so kind and patient. I have lived in the complex for the past 12 months. During the past four months, something changed. Three of my packages have been lost, and the admin simply states "I'm sorry" or Amazon will refund your purchase for free. If I request a look at the camera, they do not get back to you or say that the "angle of the camera does not capture that angle". In addition, I have seen homeless people in the main building three times (early in the morning or late at night) using the common areas. The security system is a joke! Having my wife and children around does not make me feel safe

If you are looking to live in the area, Alas Over Lowry should definitely be on your list to tour. First off it is in a beautiful area. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and nice. Second, I couldn't be happier with my apartment. All the appliances, flooring, and the trim are high quality. What made me feel most welcome was how friendly and helpful the leasing office was. When we toured and moved in, Haley spent several hours with us making sure everything was right and answering our questions. I've lived in 5 states and toured probably 30 apartments, but I have never seen a leasing staff so attentive and caring.

I’ve lived here for about a year and still have 7 months left on my lease, and honestly I regret it. In the summer, random people sneak into the pool and party until early morning with nobody stopping them.
The package locker is a whole different nightmare. One day I tried to get a delivery, went down at 11 a.m., and the staff told me to come back at 4. When I showed up at 4:15, she suddenly said she meant 5. Then she brushed me off saying she was “too busy.” Even the manager admitted they could open it but refused because she was working on a lease letter. I had been trying all day just to pick up one package and they acted like it wasn’t their problem.
For nearly $2,000 a month for a studio, this is ridiculous. The office staff used to be helpful, but now the service is terrible and unprofessional. Once my lease ends in March, I’m out. If you’re thinking about moving here—think again.
