We were visiting Alaska in august 2024. The car was new. Manager Onder was very professional and kindly helped us to solve a very unexpected problem. Our son had forgotten his iPhone in a taxi cab. Without Onder’s help the mission to get the phone back would be impossible and vacations were under a big threat from the very beginning.Thank you very much, Onder. You have made our vacations unforgettable in a good meaning of this word.
We needed to secure transportation in the area to get to Seward, a 2.5-3 hour drive south. After attempting several other agencies, I found this highly rated business.
So I called to rent a car, one way for a day. It was a 3 day minimum for the rental. I ended up shelling out far too much because all other cars were taken, 3 months out.
Then we arrive at the airport, get ourselves transported to this business and it is not the best neighborhood. We rent the car because we are in a tough spot.
We end up paying about $300 for a Ford Fusion. I feel like we were taken advantage of. I do not think this business is very reputable. Keep away from them.

Thank you Brian for your feedback. Our Anchorage office is located near downtown. Our prices are quoted upfront and competitive with the local market. As you mentioned, supply is limited during summer season therefore we have a 3-day minimum policy. Renting one-way from Anchorage to Seward also increases the cost of rentals in general. We appreciate your business.
If you are looking for a rental car for a cruise, we highly recommend them. The whole process was easy. We booked online. The check in at the port in Seward took less than 5 minutes, and we were on our way. We simply dropped the car at their Anchorage location and put the keys in the lockbox. Done. We will definitely be using them again for any future Alaska trips!!!

We rented a mini-van for one way travel from Fairbanks to Anchorage. Renting was easy and the car was perfect for our needs. They are quick to respond to texts and are honest. I highly recommend them if you need a rental car on your next vacation to Alaska

Renting a car with Alaskan Car Rental was an incredible experience. I arrived in Anchorage from a distant city at 2:30 am and, as you can imagine, there are no car rental agencies open at that time. However, ACR saved me. They were willing to help from the beginning. They arranged for me to pick up the car and sent me clear instructions on how to get to the car. A very smooth experience! The representative was extraordinarily friendly and supportive in resolving issues other than the car rental and I really appreciated the effort.
