I snuck a peek at the girl’s session & honestly they were a hot mess. My 1 year old was having a hard time separating from her teachers & my 2 year old was being her sassy little self wanting to do what she wanted & not listening at all. Alicia and her team were so patient with them & broke out all the toys & jokes & tricks in the world to help get them comfortable. I still had little faith that there would be any good photos of them smiling since they were so all over the place.
When I opened their gallery today & saw 78 perfectly beautiful photos of my silly babies I was reminded once more how amazing Alicia and her team are. They captured so many cute moments of my babies & their sassy, silly selves.
Alicia, thank you so much for the best school photos of my girls to date (& for suffering through that painful session to get shots that melted my heart). ❤️
Alicia is amazing! She did just a fantastic job capturing natural smiles for both my boys (including my 6 year old who is famous for his fake forced smiles). Nearly every photo was a keeper. I bought them all.

Alicia is more or less a magician, not a photographer. She has managed, two years running, to get the most amazing images of my boys. Two boys that are not known for following directions! The images are funny, sweet, serious, and genuinely look like my kids, not a staged version of them. I couldn’t recommend her more. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We have tons of photos of our gilrs over the years from Joopashoots that would make your head spin. Somehow she captures the internal spirit in her photos not just the outward appearance. She has done this since the girls were very young and I look forward to the next time she captures there images and their hearts as they tell me she is also really funny!!! She is a gem! Her photos are beyond amazing!

Alicia did an amazing job with our family photos. I wasn’t quite sure how it would go because I have three extremely shy boys aged 6mo, 2 years and 6 years. They literally don’t smile for anyone. Two of them are pandemic babies with very little experience interacting with strangers. My oldest rarely smiles for photos and when he does it usually looks forced. Somehow, Alicia not only got all three of these boys to smile, she had them laughing and having a good time! Our family photos came out BEAUTIFULLY. I don’t have enough nice things to say about Alicia, she is a true professional.

Amazing!!!!!!!! Alicia and her team are the absolute best. She has been taking pictures of our family for 5+ years and I am always blown away by the experience and photos. Alicia is amazing with children, she makes them comfortable and has fun which definitely reflects in all the pictures she captures. Alicia is amazing! We have done photos with her many times— maternity, newborn, fall, school photos. She takes her time, takes a million photos, and makes sure the whole family is having fun while doing it. Her work is gorgeous and she is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Would recommend her without any hesitation!!!
Edited to add: We recently used a different photographer just to give a local mom a chance, and we thought we’d save some money. What a mistake.. no one can work with young children the way Alicia does. It’s natural for her to get kids to smile and they love her silly tricks and toys she pulls out to make them happy. Will never make this mistake again.. going straight to Alicia for our next photoshoot. She’s worth every penny!

We have been using Joopa shoots for about 3 years now. We could not be more thrilled with our photos. Alicia and her team are so good with our children. She took so many different types of photos of the kids and I truly loved them all! She is highly professional and I really like the setting in her studio. The space is so entertaining for kids!

We had a great experience with Alicia. I heard nothing but giggles coming out of the studio during the session, and the end result photos make me smile every time I look at them. There's a great mix of posed (but not wooden) traditional shots, and motion shots that really show off my daughters' personalities. We're so happy to have these awesome pictures.
