Ajay's a great teacher!

Tremendously harsh with class arrangements. The instructor cancels class and then doesn't make up for it... but demands your payment anyway. Very inflexible and impossible to reason with. 2 Classes were cancelled within my first month, and only one was made up. In spite of following up on this missed lesson, it was never made up. Ajay might be a good teacher, but in breach of his own contract. Name calling doesn't change this fact. As far as Ajay's deformation of character... I have proof of payment made. I have made payment for the first month, of which I only received 2 classes, and then I was expected to uphold an agreement that Ajay himself did not honour.

Ajay's Art classes offers a wide variety of art mediums catering for beginners to the experienced. Ajay allows you to express yourself while assisting with the technical aspects. I loved the extra weekend workshops of various themes. Such fun!

I joined Ajay's to learn more about Oil painting, was I in for a surprise! Not before long I was dabbling in all mediums, even sculpting and loving it all. It's wonderfull to give yourself something in an environment of like minded yet diversely different people with excellent coffee on tap : ). Sensitive, Gifted teacher with an incredible eye for detail who will not pull any punches and will open a new door in your life no matter your age. I have been going to Ajays classes for more than 10 years. I love that I can follow the rules and principles to always come out great results. You are free to be who you are and there is no pressure to work on styles and mediums you don’t enjoy. I have also met really interesting people throughout the years and generally find classes lighthearted - and there is always music!

I have attended art classes with AJ for 3 years now. I can only say that it has been one of the most satisfying and exciting experiences for me. I have learnt so much from AJ. He is a wonderful teacher and I have advanced so much in the three years that I have attended. I have also watched him take students with no art experience and bring them to a level that is astonishing. I would recommend his school for anyone who wants to learn and enjoy art. Miki Kline.

I joined Ajays Sandton Library class about 3 years ago. I joined Ajay after meeting Heather at Hobbyex - I spent my first class drawing rather wobbly circles and the 2nd class after doing perfect circles, I was promoted to shading!! Soon I was doing the dreaded avo, followed by my portrait which turned out rather well - it still holds a special place in my studio. When I finished my soft pastel picture, I took it to my framing friend - it was not yet completely framed when I got a call from Dragona to say she had someone wanting to buy my artwork! It was duly sold - I have mixed feelings about the sale, sad that I had sold it but it really gave me a lot of confidence. All that seems a thousand years ago - I went on to working in oils and have grown from strength to strength. Ajay is a wonderful teacher - sometimes strict (which I need) but always caring and understanding. He has allowed me to make mistakes at times but through these mistakes I have learnt so much - not only doing them but doing the corrections together with my special Teach! I have progressed so so much and now proudly call myself am artist (well one in learning). Thanks so much Teach - u are one special person!!!

I have been at Ajay's for 6 years - and I still have so much to learn - I love that the process of learning continues to shift over time to continue to develop new skills and both Ajay and Hester are particularly skilled at accommodating each person's interest in technique and subject matter. My family know that art classes are my time - and I don't intend stopping any time soon.

I attended art classes with Ajay and Hester for a number of years. It was really a wonderful time for me and although I don't attend class anymore, I still have a very keen interest in art, the process of creating and exploring new skills. It was really a fantastic experience going to class.
