Selling outdated phones as upgrades Fyi everybody thinking their upgrade to iPhone 8 is not a good deal because apple does not include iPhone 8 in their security updates anymore and all of the apps are paying the price for it by the numbers looking funny and online links not responding and data breeches and getting lock outs bc your passcode app isnt updated and much much . more. I'm really surprised that airtalk is still selling these outdated no good phones at 50.00 usa dollars. Is there any non corrupt businesses out there anymore!?!

SCAM BIG SCAM. THEY GET YOUR INFO, THEN THEY DO NOT SEND A PHONE, DO NOT TRANSFER YOUR NUMBER, THEN THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES, NOT EVEN AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN TEXAS!!!

Crooks Well just about the worst service ever first phone poor quality drop calls so I ordered another phone and they sent it with no sim card absolutely no customer service at all. When my contact runs out they can @#$_&-+()/*" I think you got the message.

Try some where else be for signing up for Air Talk. Customer service is nonexistent. Big thing 24 hour a day customer service. I tried to get a hold of them for 4 days. All you get is auto reply and put on hold after two hours of sitting on hold it would disconnect and have to start all over again. 24 customer service is not true. They are only open 8am to 8 pm according to the recording call back during working hours. I have medical necessity that I have to have a working phone. I ported my number on a phone that doesn’t have a physical sim slot only eSIM . I was sitting in the doctors office on hold when someone finally decided to answer. I couldn’t talk so had it off to my son. The answer was to order another sims card. It does not except SIM card. But that was the only answer. I got out of the doctors office and started the whole process all over again at 6 days without a phone I finally got through to customer service again. And was treated like I was an idol when I kept telling them that I need the esims fixed. Because it states right on the web site not to delete the eSIM it can not be reinstalled. She told me I was wrong that my iPhone 14 took a physical sims. Well when she finally looked it up her question was did you buy the phone in the US well of course I did since I live here and the lifeline program is for US citizens. They shipped the a sims card to my physical address in the US. She said that she would order me a new eSIMs and to delete everything on my phone which would leave me with absolutely no working phone I already couldn’t receive or send Text the phone didn’t ring went straight to voicemail with the message that that it was not set up. Well she finally agreed that I didn’t need to delete everything until the I got the new QR code to install a new eSIM. Well it rings some of the time but even after resetting the voice mail I am still not receiving them. The failure rate of texting is 85 to 90%. I don’t know about the receiving failure rates because I have no way to know how many were sent and no received. If the service works I will keep it only because I don’t want to mess around with the mess again. But at this time it is still not working right. I only get about A1/2 a bar to 1 bar of reception. This should be 5 g network.

Still working fine I have had my Airtalk phone and wireless service for 7 months now, and so far it has been pretty favorable. Phone is working ok. Customer service isn't the greatest. It's limited with their hours of operation. Long wait of 40 minutes or more but when i actually got a representative which happened on June 25, 2025, that rep was able to help me with my issue. Yes, my issue was resolved. For a free government phone service, i recommend them. I plan to upgrade my phone in the near future so will see how that goes. I'll be rating my experience then.

Ridiculous customer service Geez I have left numerous messages with customer service regarding my stolen phone and still after 3 months not anyone has got back to me. I can’t seem to get through on any number that is on there web page. . Help please someone else is using my number!

Not too happy with the service My phone showed up broken people cannot hear me on a call. I tried to purchase a top up of 2 GB of data. The money was taken from my bank account, and I still have not received the data.

App issues I can’t ever verify my information. Nothing is ever sent to me to verify. I’ve tried numerous of times. I’ve also tried chatting on app to CS and always have an extremely long wait. I was with one ACP & they switched over to straight talk. Ever since my phone is in and out of service, mostly out of service. Eventually it will work while I’m in my city. As soon as I travel it goes back to saying no service. I’ve tried to get a new sim via app but can’t ever seem to complete the order. I try to call & the wait is so long that I can’t take it & eventually hang up. Over it.

Another joke of a fly by night horrible company The only reason I switched to this xompany is for the chance to get an iPhone which I was lead to believe I was receiving all the way until delivery!! When I opened the box to find an elderly person type flip phone from the early 90s with xtra large buttons with no possibility of internet access … I was fuming obviously!!! I have been duped!! I’m so absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed with this company and phone it’s nauseating If I could give a negative score for the rating … it would be -100 stars..

Air talk customer service When it comes to customer service air talk is the worst customer service ever the phone keeps ringing and ringing and ringing and when you go to the Chatbot, you are 1100 in line. Trying to get customer service is really difficult. They don’t answer you back and if they do that, they don’t really help you fix the problem. I have been trying to get air. Talk to fix myvoicemail. I don’t have a number to call. I don’t have anything to help me and it’s crazy so that’s why I’m giving it two stars.

Foreign scam. Very disappointed my gov't didn't protect me By having them on the list as a provider. 2+ months of stress, loss of $$ & time. they count on you using up your pin lifeline benefits trying to call them to get data, sending you someone else's Sim when you v request to keep your number, then dwindling service. I am a senior & travel & could not use my GPS! I switched carriers t l& they decided to answer & when I refused to switch back theatened me with an invoice for the toy phone they sent me & other fees. So I reported them to the FCC, Ohio Att. General & social media.

I recieved my airtalk phone about 3 months ago. Have had nothing but a headache with it . Took me along time to get the memory card in it . All I get are calls for whomever had the number before me or relentless spam calls. In order to try and use the phone ya have to plug it in to turn it on, otherwise it doesn't work . So this phone is basically useless. It's been just sitting on my countertop probably dead by now unused for over a month would I recommend to friends or family uhm thats a BIG NO!!! Worst phone I've ever had
