It is a fraud company. They are involved in illegal activities. Like showing useless one star properties as 4-5 stars and take money from customers, once you checkin the property they Will show as the booking cancelled and don't provide the bill. The law enforcement agencies should notice this and investigate.

I would rate negative if available. Be aware of such fraud and bogus company. They will charge immediately for booking and if u cancel under free cancellation they will not refund and give some or other excuse to provide with statement and all

原本訂了5月6日至8日的房間,後來被旅館要求取消。我原本沒有打算申請賠償,是 Agoda 團隊主動聯絡我表示可以提供補償方案。但當我依照要求提供刷卡憑證與收據後,Agoda 又追加要求各種資料,例如完整的對帳單、銀行商標、持卡人姓名、卡號末四碼等等。明明已經提供清楚的交易資訊,卻一直被刁難。 最可笑的是,我臨時改訂的房間也是透過 Agoda 訂的,難道你們自己沒有紀錄嗎? 一開始不主動賠償也就算了,主動聯絡我又讓我跑這麼多流程,根本是浪費時間。 奉勸大家改用 Trip.com,至少不用受這種氣。未來不會再使用 Agoda。 I originally booked a stay from May 6 to 8, but the hotel asked me to cancel. I wasn’t even planning to request compensation—Agoda reached out to offer a reimbursement plan. After I submitted the required receipt and credit card proof, Agoda kept asking for more documents like full bank statements, bank logos, cardholder name, last four digits of my card, etc. Despite already providing clear payment details, I felt I was being unreasonably pushed around. The most ridiculous part? I rebooked another hotel through Agoda. Don’t they have that transaction on file? It’s frustrating that they initiated the offer but made the process so difficult. Totally wasted my time. I recommend using Trip.com instead. I won’t be using Agoda again.

the most pathetic app, most pathetic customer care and most pathetic management, booked a stay for one hotel in Amritsar, when reached, hotel denied check in stating we don't have tie up with agoda, i reached customer care they took 30 mins and then said we can book another stay for you, they gave some options, ithen picked up one and they booked that for me, i went there to check in, that hotel as well said the same thing. I mean the platform is useless and customer care is unaware.

Do not book any hotel/resort booking through Agoda. An incident happened with me as i have booked a booking and when i reached to the hotel , they have asked me extra charges for room. I have contacted Agoda customer care but they did not assist us.

I booked a hotel in varanasi and had a confirmed booking. When I was reaching varanasi, I called the hotel to inform them that I will be checking in late. The hotel informed me that there was no confirmed booking in my name and I was told not to come as they will not be able to accomodate me. Trying to reach agoda customer care was futile and there was no proper response from their customer service platform on the app.

To be honest agoda had the worst customer service ever and for sure i dont mean the agents who answered the call they were helping as much as they can Since 2 days i am trying to do a reservation, if i did a mistake with the dates as i was planning for a week from 31 to 5th of april the reservation were from 4 to 5 , i truied to call or email the property manager and since 2 days no answer , i did a 2nd reservation also fully debited from account but the property manager said how you got confirmation since i did not accept sorry we have to cancel and call agoda , after sommany calls and so many time waiting they said sorry we could not solve your proplem even though i have explained that i have no other place to stay they have only gave us solution of 30/ extra on refund , but refund from 7 to 35 days Ok where shall i stay during this time what if i have no other money to pay shall i stay at street , with my lagguge, cant charge my phone, cant rest waiting for the refund to happen so proplem will be solced from your side , if you care about client what about me ? Did you solve my proplem that simply i need a place to stay thats why i downloadedvyour app and open an account and did 3 paid reservation , one of them for changing the dates only you were very quick by sending payment link , but so so so late in replying to me and kept me waiting on phone calls more than 1 hour and at the end i solved the issue at the property because they do care about clients and feedback , i dont think agoda will stay long if they kept only focusing in target and how to take more money as for sur you dont care about the person I hope things will be better in future, i hope that no one will face same struggle that i have faced again one more issue since yesterday i asked if can i check in for this property at this date instead of this 1 day before the reservation date till now no boday called , follow up , morning i gave again called for the same issue , me my self hadeel husni , and agoda them self all of us since 2 days we are waiting for property manager to answer or open his phone or email. Inchallah it will happend one day but till the time he will do we have to die waiting struggling with our lagguge waiting for agoda to assis our request in any thing either the refund so we can do another reservation, or any other solution I cant thank for a service i did not get but i really hope that you will be better in future

Beware. Misleading way of charging you the actual price. Although charge rate and display rate the same, they slap you with 5% fee. No integrity .Issues not resolved. Rude customer service, hung up on you while you on the line. Customer service manipulative speaking in an English accent you don't understand, that you have to ask her to repeat 6X and slow down 3X. The worse is using your phone number from that call to push marketing promotions while not resolving your problem.

Agoda is completely fraud ..All my indian customer be aware from this fake merchant ..we have many other otentic merchant.. onces you go to app and register yourself they create parallel account without OTP Verification (no mail nor Mob) and charge you ...

Horrible customer service. We reserved a hotel room, but when we arrived, the hotel staff told us they didn’t have our reservation or any available room because all the rooms were full. The night before, I asked their representative twice to double-check, and each time they assured me everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, the hotel contacted their reservation team and Agoda, and what happened was that Agoda didn't send them the reservation. Agoda then informed them that we (as customers) need to contact Agoda directly to resolve the issue. After multiple attempts to reach Agoda and being hung up on, we finally received a message that said: “Sorry, all rooms are full. Option 1: we can issue a refund and provide a few dollars of Agoda credits that expire. Option 2: we can find you an alternative place.” We ended up spending three hours in the lobby instead of enjoying our holiday due to Agoda’s fault and negligence, and they refused to take responsibility or offer meaningful compensation. I can’t imagine what alternative place Agoda would have chosen, as there seemed to be no coordination, so we ultimately booked a new place ourselves through Booking.

Agoda is fake and froud compuny I did take room in jaipur 31st dec for 3 nights and than i did visit hotel room there I saw room condition is very poor and low no clearness.,, very bad staf behaviour and no any food facilities so I did decide I reject the room and hotel I did cancel ticket also but Agoda froud with me they did not give my money refund it's a froud compuny no any contact number no any customer support I m requesting to Agoda kindly give my money refund in my account otherwise I will share all the details on social media platform Thanx

All good deals until you find an issue in your booking. They don’t help you with the issue or give you a refund, even being a frequent customer. When I informed them the property is fake, they didn’t remove it or took any measures to avoid further customer scams. It’s really a shame, you cannot trust them.

highly rated scammers, never do any booking through Agoda, their India center is an out and out scam, their customer service less said better, you will be on your own once the money is paid.....it is like death...it will never be refunded even if their fault....better to avoid this highly insidious company at all costs!!!
