Sam apartment with a beautiful view in a great location ( close to the main square)
☺ The main room is LARGE and full of character and authentic furniture and paintings. The view over the rooftops and distant hills is wonderful. There is a balcony and you are able to watch the sunrise. Lovely morning sun comes into the room. The bathroom was clean and very modern.
☹ There were 12 large and very dusty fake pot plants throughout the apartment. There was a dirty mat and dirty cloth in the kitchen. The exhaust fan and light above the stove did not work. Very plain / cheap crockery and appliances. ALL of these things detracted from the experience.
Strangely, the bed in the second ( minor) bedroom was the one that was made up - NOT the bed in the main bedroom

☺ We stayed at a few places by now, and the Imperial Suite Palazzo Storico Affreschi dei 1600 was a mixed stay. The location is great, especially if you are looking for the buzz of a historic town centre, both during the day as well as the evening. The apartment is spacious, has a beautiful view from a high vantage point and, evidently, had been - at some point - a grand place to live in.
☹ No aircon (and not even a quality fan), questionable electrics, a 1960s or 70s jacuzzi-style bathtub that made showers neither fun nor relaxing, no noise insulation. At the price point and considering how it could have been, given the pictures and reviews (especially if refurbished / refreshed), we were a little disappointed.

We had a wonderful holiday in this centrally situated, beautiful suite.
☺ The hosts arranged an airport pick up and transfer to the door of the suite. The suite was large , with frescos on the ceilings
and a beautiful view from the balcony. It was centrally situated on the edge of the cathedral square with many good restaurants within close walking distance.

Beautiful old apartment in the heart of town
☺ Character filled apartment with beautiful ceilings and spacious, grandly furnished rooms. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town and stunning views. Space to relax in the comfortable living room. Elevator made it easy to get our luggage up.
☹ The bath tub takes a bit of working out and only has a hand held shower nozzle. It was noisy at night as it is right on the piazza but it was ok when we closed the windows. No air conditioning but we knew that. Beds are very firm.

Had a wonderful time staying in Deseos’s place! Couldn’t have asked for a more central location. Dropping the bags was slightly stressful with a car, but if you can carry your things, suggest parking down in the free parking lot at the bottom of the mini metro as the metro runs every few minutes and costs only €1.50 per ride. The apartment is just a five minute walk from the last mini metro stop.Perugia is so walkable and we really enjoyed being in the heart of it, eating at many of the local restaurants. If you’re into vintage shopping also recommend checking out Paleos Vintage. Deseos was incredibly helpful, sorting out any questions or needs we had efficiently and kindly. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a lush stay in Perugia.

☺ The apartment was gorgeous; the views were stunning. Look no further. The hosts were so responsive. Lorenzo did everything to assist us. Plus he was so sweet.
☹ It was difficult for us to get to because there were no taxis. Be aware that there is a minimetrò right next to the train station but it is not clearly marked. Once you get to the building the elevator is around the corner from the stairs.

The best thing is the location and the frescoed ceilings.
☹ The worst thing is the bathroom. It has an old bathtub in poor condition. Water leaks. The shower is difficult to use. The handle comes off the faucet. It doesn't have enough pressure. Furthermore, even less water comes out, because it comes out of both the shower and the bathtub faucet at the same time.
The shower can't be hung up. There are no screens or curtains. It's a very high bathtub, difficult and dangerous to climb into.
The instructions and videos were sent to us after the transfer was made, not before. If we had known, we wouldn't have rented this apartment.
It's very uncomfortable, especially since it's the only bathroom for four people.
On the other hand, the lighting in the kitchen is great during the day, but at night it's very poor.
We couldn't get the TV to work. They sent us videos, and we couldn't watch them.
We would have appreciated if they had personally stopped by, to attended to our needs. All they did was change a light bulb in the kitchen and apologized, saying the house was old and there wasn't enough water pressure.
