Started work with Jonathan back in February this year thanks to recommendation by a triathlon club member and I'm so glad they put me in contact with him. He has completely changed how I train. I was fatigued, dropping weight due to inadequate nutrition and training had become a chore to point where I was no longer enjoying my training sessions. Injury niggles were starting to affect planned training days leading to interruptions in training and one of the things I had loved about triathlon was the social aspect of the training sessions, so I knew I needed to change things up, but did not know where to start. After an initial LT running track testing session back in February and honest feedback from Jonathan on the numbers from the blood tests, he came up with a training approach focussed on rebuilding my running training to start before we would look at the bike. I put my trust in him and the process and followed the proposed plan. After several weeks, the injuries and the fatigue stopped while in parallel I was working with physio on S+C rehab. Jonathan also covered nutrition versus my training volume and my weight stabilised. Recovery has been much better for me this year since following his advice around nutrition, especially for bike and run. He took any feedback from my physio to me on board and factored this into the training plan for the running as he gradually adjusted the training plan load based on my needs and rehab progress. Based on the running, I did the bike LT testing, which again helped me hugely in working in the correct zones for me on the bike. Most importantly, he got me ENJOYING my triathlon training and my race day events and not putting unnecessary pressure on myself come race day; he asked me to remind myself why I took up the sport in the first place and why I came into him and I think about that every time I head out to train or turn up for a race now. He listened carefully in video calls and in-clinic sessions, set out a clear plan to avoid exhaustion and reduce injury risk and a plan that was aligned with my personal goals. Jonathan is extremely passionate about what he does and I find that enthusiasm infectious. He is a straight talker and expects equally honest feedback from you if something needs to be changed, so he can work with you on it. Johnathan is absolutely superb at his job, no matter what the issue is he is able to fix it.

Super coach, with training plans suited to you achieving your goals and training gently increasing week on week. Can be a hands on coach or just let you get on with it, whatever you want, for me I get on with it and we have monthly calls and sessions in the office. If you want to achieve your goals, coach will get you there, I have a 100% confidence and faith in him, I wouldn’t be doing the half iron man without him !!

I’ve struggled with chronic back pain for over two years. Johnathan has been unbelievably supportive in getting my back pain under control androgynous in tip top shape. We put together a manageable at home plan to make progress towards recovery with intermittent in-person sessions. The combined treatment has proven to be successful and Johnathan was there, supportive all the way.

Jonathan is a gent and has been great at working on my back and shoulders as I train for the bay swim as well as coaching and advising me for the swim itself given his experience!

Super great place go sort your injuries out. Suffering from shin splints for over a year and now able run around again for hours. :)

Absolutely fantastic service. Was struggling for years with knee and back pain until Johnathan fixed me. Went on to complete many triathlons including full Ironman. Cannot recommend enough 👍💪
