I'm currently using Kamal's help for an ADU project and it has been nothing short of a great experience. Kamal shows up when he says he will, gives you access to all his resources (including contractor discounts), uses technology to simplify processes, explains trade-offs clearly/honestly, and has a way to negotiate with cities to drive the best outcome for the customer -- I've worked with other contractors and these are NOT common in the industry. As examples of where he's gone above and beyond: he purchased a tankless water heater and delivered it to my home; he offered my handyman access to resources to help him learn; he created a detailed spreadsheet to understand the return on investment. Kamal is amazing. You cannot go wrong with him.

Couldn't be more excited being the first reviewer for them. We hired Kamal as a consultant for our remodel project. It was a major project involving relayouting the living room to build a whole new kitchen and island, closing a fireplace, converting the old kitchen to a bedroom. Few observations: - Instead of just slapping line items of extra charges, Kamal actually gave suggestions where I could cut the cost by managing things myself, like building design and permits, avoiding structural changes. - Where it made sense he advised us to spend a little extra for things that will stay with us for a lifetime. Like going in for a custom slab instead of prefab.. Also Appliances - He listened to our concerns and expectations and made very personalized suggestions about things which no one else might. We installed two dish washers in our kitchen on his advice and this was one of the best optimization decision we made. - He pushed us calmly through unexpected changes in plan when we had some structural surprises. - He is very well versed with the building code and was able to keep is one step ahead of the city inspectors. In the end, we were able to pull off a major remodel which we and other contractors thought was crazy idea. And all that within reasonable budget, getting the highest quality and safety.
