I am posting this review to share my experience regarding a County Court Judgment (CCJ) enforcement (Ref: HC10028) handled by Absolute Enforcement between February 2025 and October 2025.
Factual Timeline:
Duration: The case was open for approximately 9 months.
Action Taken: Despite the debt being just under £10,000, only three site visits were recorded during this entire period.
Outcome: During these months, the debtor company was able to complete corporate filings (September) and eventually cease trading/move locations before assets were secured.
My Observations: In my opinion, the management of this case lacked the necessary urgency. I found the communication to be a significant hurdle; my assigned case manager appeared either under-resourced or unresponsive to the evolving situation. When told the company changed their corporate head office address, Absolute Enforcement wanted nothing further with the case and sent me a closed case report.
As a result of what I perceive to be a lack of proactive enforcement, I have likely lost thousands of pounds as the debtor has now vanished. I would advise others to carefully consider whether this firm has the resources to prioritize their high-value claims.

Unfortunately, enforcement outcomes are ultimately dictated by the debtor’s circumstances. Where a debtor ceases trading, relocates, or has no seizable assets available at the time of attendance, recovery may not be possible despite appropriate action being taken. This is a risk inherent in enforcement and one that is outside the control of any enforcement agent.
In this instance, once it became clear that the debtor company had changed circumstances and enforcement options were exhausted under the relevant regulations, a closure report was issued in line with our professional obligations. Continuing enforcement where no lawful route remains would not be appropriate or compliant.
We respectfully disagree with the suggestion that this matter was not prioritised or managed professionally. That said, we do appreciate feedback and continually review our processes, communication, and resourcing to ensure we deliver the highest possible standards of service.

As an expat and a new comer in the city I was tricked by then handy man contractor I had hired for a large amount.
I was quite lost while searching for an Enforcment agency and am delighted that I signed up with AE.
I had signed up on the 1st of October and received all the outstanding amount by the 18th of November.

Not very happy
Happy at the start when I paid for their service, I felt I was in good hands and they will recover some of the money, 10K. The whole experience was me having to chase them for some information and understanding was what going on with the case. To be told after several chase emails that they are closing the case due to there being no assets of value. Poor communication, feel let down and debtor can just get on with their life.

Paid them to collect a debt, nothing happened for months repeatedly chased them to be told there was an “allocation issue” chased again a month or so later to be told someone will be visiting. Roll on another 6 months to be told the debt can’t be collected and I need to PAY ANOTHER £90 for them to close the case! Absolutely useless would be a better name. I’m now hundreds down as well as the £2000 original debt never again

We take all feedback constructively and, in this case, have reviewed your file and would like to reiterate that enforcement visits were carried out in July, August and October in full accordance with the Taking Control of Goods Regulations 2013. The debt was against a limited company, while the address provided was a residential property. By law, Enforcement Agents can only take control of goods that are proven to belong to the named debtor — in this case, the company — and not those belonging personally to directors, occupants, or third parties.
On two occasions our Enforcement Agent was refused entry, and on the third visit there was no response at the address. No company assets were visible, and multiple telephone attempts were made without success. Without lawful access or identifiable company assets, we were legally prevented from progressing enforcement further.
The closure fee you mention covers the statutory costs associated with the enforcement stage and the visits already undertaken. We appreciate that this outcome is frustrating, especially when recovery proves impossible, but our team acted strictly within the law and with full transparency throughout the process.

Very professional company that are very accommodating of there clients needs. Absolute Enforcement were fantastic to deal with and Jane in particular was brilliant throughout. Absolute Enforcement is an Absolute Disappointment – Services Not Delivered since March 2025. I paid Absolute Enforcement on 03 March 2025 to escalate a CCJ and obtain a Writ of Control from the High Court and enforce the recovery of my money owed to me. This was approved by the Royal Courts of Justice Group - Foreign Process Section of the HM Courts & Tribunals Service, London. It’s now 30 July 2025, and despite repeated follow-ups, they have failed to deliver the service I paid for.
I began keeping records of my calls and emails from 24 July 2025. That day, a male staff member [name withheld) said he was the only one at the office and that he’d pass my message to the person handling my case [her name withheld] - who supposedly worked from home. No callback. On 29 July 2025, a female staff member [name withheld] told me the case handler was on holiday and would return to work on 30 July 2025. She promised to investigate and call me back. Again, no callback.
On 30 July 2025, after speaking to my legal adviser, I sent an official email to the named female individual at Absolute Enforcement handling the case. Within 23 minutes, I received a reply stating they were “awaiting confirmation from their Legal team to proceed with Enforcement” — despite having already paid and previously been told the Legal team had approved "we can now proceed" enforcement using the Sealed Certificate on 7 April 2025.
At 4 PM today, 30 July 2025, I called again. My call was ignored until I tried multiple options. When I finally got through, I was told the case handler had “just left the office for home after her official meeting.” This pattern of avoidance and contradictory communication is unacceptable and unprofessional.
I’ve dealt with three different staff members, none of whom seem to have a grasp of my case. Their internal communication is chaotic, their professionalism lacking, and their accountability nonexistent. I’ve now requested a refund. Based on my experience — and similar reviews from other clients — I strongly advise the public to "GO ELSEWHERE".
Absolute Enforcement is unreliable, evasive, and unprofessional.
Never again. Absolute Enforcement is an Absolute JOKE!

Unfortunately we have had shocking service from Absolute enforcement. Over the last 7 months they have only sent bailiffs round twice to only one of the addresses we provided. They have done no research into the debtors company at all and seem to ignore any updates I have researched and given them. In these 7 months they have only contacted us twice and seemed unaware the debtor had not paid the first installment , when I called to enquire. Sadly I would no recommend Absolute enforcement and advise anyone to go elsewhere.

They took my information and completed the entire process; I recovered my money in less than a month.
