Amazing! The owner is a fantastic host, the food was perfect. The Cod with corn curry was the perfect balance of sweet and savoury! We did not feel the least bit rushed to finish our meals and were there for an experience versus a typical rushed dining of most chain restaurants. Truly a gem in Cochrane!

Beautifully decorated and clean restaurant with helpful and attentive staff and an incredibly flavourful menu. This is the restaurant to dine at if you want to showcase food in Cochrane or have something to celebrate. Today was the second time here and we got to try the Christmas set menu and it was amazing!

It's hard to order from Aama because deciding on the best dishes is impossible. I want to order one of everything. Tonite we got takeout and while the service was excellent, the food was absolutely incredible. These guys are an excellent addition to the neighborhood and Cochrane.

This place blew past my expectations, I'm already thinking about when I can come back!Great experience, the owner was so friendly and spent time talking with us after the meal.

Stumbled in and so happy we did, very clean and lovely decor. The service was outstanding, the owner helped make recommendations which were fantastic. The food was incredible!!! We had the soybean salad and yak dumplings to start, both fresh and so full of flavor. We then shared a platter and every single part of it was amazing, more than enough food for the two of us. Highly highly recommend checking this place out, you won't be disappointed!!

Wow, what an amazing piece of Nepal right in Cochrane. Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, very friendly staff. 10/10 recommend to come here.

We went for a vine and dine event and it was fantastic. Food was excellent, service was amazing and the ambiance great. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back.

A neighbour recommended this restaurant and my daughter decided she’d like to celebrate her birthday at Aama. She loves yak and was curious as to the differences between Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine. We started off with fried yak momos. These are very tasty stuffed dumplings. We shared the Thali meal for 2. OMG! EVERYTHING was amazing!!! The yak was so tender and absolutely delicious. The buttered rice is unbelievably great. The two veggie dishes were fantastic. The spices and herbs used made for complex, interesting and phenomenal flavours. The service was great.

Wondeful food, everything was delicious and well seasoned. The cocktails with a Nepalese spin on them are very nice as well. We met the owner and her sister and they were very nice and welcoming.

Amazingly good food, definitely worth a visit. Chef G was very friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming. They did not cheap out when they decorated the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Having dined at several Nepalese restaurants across Canada, I had often been disappointed by their lack of authentic Nepalese cuisine. However, during our visit to Alberta, we had the pleasure of dining at Aama Nepalese Cuisine, where we experienced exceptional Nepalese food from various regions of Nepal. What stood out most was the freshness of the ingredients. Having grown up on farms with access to fresh meat and vegetables, I was reminded of those flavors at Aama Nepalese Cuisine. The ingredients were clearly free from preservatives and taste enhancers, delivering a remarkable taste. Furthermore, the pricing was surprisingly reasonable given the high quality of the food. The staff were exceptionally courteous, and the owner herself warmly welcomed us, assisted with our food selection, and inquired about our experience. Her attentiveness made us feel more like honored guests than mere customers, adding a genuine sense of hospitality and homeliness to our visit. Thank You for the Service ❤️❤️

Sooooo good! This restaurant is beautiful inside and the food is really fantastic. I went with work colleagues for lunch and we were all very impressed, we will all be back with family and friends. The attention to detail and quality of the food is truly value for money

We had the most amazing meal and time at Aama last week. The food was authentic, and equally delicious. The owners were lovely and welcoming, and it was nice to hear about the Nepalese culture and cuisine. I highly recommend anyone to visit! 5 Stars!

Took a guest to lunch at this lovely restaurant. The layout and themed decor grabbed our attention when we entered. The restaurant is small, very clean, warm and welcoming. Our server was superb; attentive, knowledgeable, helpful but did not hover nor "fuss". The owner/chef brought our food, steaming hot, fragrant, fresh ingredients out himself and chatted with us about how it was made and about traditional . The menu offers good variety. Food was good; carefully prepared. Very attractive and appetizing. The prices were fair. They take pride in providing good food and a good dining experience. I will definitely go back.
