**WARNING**Do not engage in David’s law nor anyone within his law firm (including Mr.Horlacher) because they are CROOKS! In our specific situation, we initially engaged the legal services of David in 2024 because we were seriously looking at purchasing an airport near Tampa and we were very clear with David that we were not engaging with David fully, but on an as needed basis. There was never any written retainer agreement signed, and dated between us and David nor anyone else within his law firm nor did he require one (disease which extremely unusual for an attorney to do). We found out the hard way why he never wanted a written agreement. He robbed us of over $8000. He created fake invoices for services. We never authorized him to perform, and when we refuse to pay those invoices, he enlisted his cohorts to file a civil action in Sarasota County (case no. 582025SC000583XXXANC). We are in the process of filing a bar complaint and are about to work with a real attorney to sue him and get our money he wrongfully stole. He has violated Florida bar regulation rule 4–1.9, 4–1.5 (E) (1), And 8.4 (a).if anyone wants to see the evidence, please reach out to me as I’m not hard to find.

Gloria, Katie and Chris made the transaction on my home purchase extremely easy and efficient. They required minimal input from me and it was over before I knew it. And all at a very reasonable price, given the complexity of purchasing the home out of foreclosure. Their communication and response time was unexpectedly quick and all staff I interacted with was competent and helpful, unlike most business interactions since COVID where you have to wait or get a useless response. I will 100% be utilizing DHR for all of my future real estate transactions. Highly recommend! Update: I, again, contacted DHR for advice on a contract while purchasing my next piece of property. They were extremely helpful and responsive, just as they were last time! I’ll be back again!

Chris is impossible to get ahold of after multiple direct calls and emails to him directly and to the office. If they dont want to take a case it makes a whole lot more sense telling a client that than just ghosting someone which is what Chris has done for almost 2 months now

I need to add this commentary to my 5 star rating for DHR Law. I contacted Chris Horlacher at DHR based on a personal referral and indeed he exceeded my expectations. First, he answered promptly to my initial inquiry followed by a phone call. Second, From my initial contact with Chris, I was set at ease that he understood what we were trying to achieve and explained how it would be done. finally, my inquiry was time sensitive and Chris turned around the review of the documents in record time. Egregiously incompetent. I retained C. Horlacher to simplify a property deed transfer with rights of survivorship, but instead he created a heinous probate mess costing me a year of my life, thousands of wasted dollars, and stress to resolve. He did not even have the decency to reach out to apologize. Stay away from DHR. I regret I cannot give them zero stars.

Scheduled time to review trust and estate documents. Dropped them off for review and never heard back. I called and emailed multiple times with no contact over a two month period. I also requested the documents to be mailed back to me and a paralegal promised they would be sent next day. I walked in two weeks later and they handed me the documents. Stay away, this place is a mess.
