Company lost it's luster
Pros:The people here are truly what kept me here so long. Decent pay and eligibility for quarterly bonuses. Cons:The company is currently experiencing significant growing pains. It used to strongly advocate for work-life balance, but it seems that focus is being lost. Despite promoting flexibility, there’s a sense of judgment, and some leaders are starting to create an environment that feels more like a dictatorship. Advice to Management:Be more transparent with employees about opportunities for job growth, as roles can become stagnant quickly. Also, stay true to the company's values. Employees work hard because the company once prioritized personal lives, but it now feels like that commitment is fading.
I bought a 2000X Patriot generator about a year and a 1/2 ago. I've been complaining about it since it was 9 or 10 months old and they've done nothing about it. So if I were you, I would not buy any generators from now. They are not what they say. They are let them just make food. They don't need to be making stuff like this.
I had to come back on and give a second review. Our generator stopped working after less than 100 uses. It was challenging to get anyone to respond, until I came here and stated my issue. Then, I got a response and a satisfactory resolution, to which I am very grateful. It is, however difficult to get help with their generators due to no one locally that will look at them. Is there any way, as a company, that you can offer more assistance for your high end products? These generators are a lot of money and if I hadn't found this platform to share my situation, I would have had a very expensive paperweight. Let me end with this. I am very satisfied with the end results of my situation. Thanks 4Patriots!!
Do not order from 4patriots unless you want them to take your money and give you nothing. They shipped without sending a tracking number and package was left unattended and stolen. DON'T TRUST THEM TO SAFELY SEND YOUR PACKAGE! I ordered a one week food supply and was "given" another 2 weeks, for free. I was told that that they would email me a notification and a tracking number when my order shipped, and that I would get my order in 7 to 10 days. At eight days with no notice or tracking number I called them to inquire about my order. They informed me it had already been delivered 5 days ago and had a *** ** picture of it on my buildings steps. It was stolen. If they had sent me the tracking number I would have been there to get my package. They didn't. When I contacted them they blamed me for it getting stolen and basically said it wasn't their problem.
I was only able to use my 4Patriots solar generator 3 days. On the 4th day, I smelled smoke and something was burning inside the generator. At this point, I can’t use the generator. I spent a lot of money purchasing the 1800 generator and solar panels. 4Patriots doesn’t have anyone to service the generator. When I called, all they offered was $150 off another expensive generator. It only had a one year warranty, and I never used it during that year. I have pictures of the inside of the generator with the mosfets burned. Different batch/lot numbers of mosfets were used. I was told that this could be why the generator burned. I’m very disappointed and feel scammed due to losing so much money.
Well this is a business that hopes you'll never need to use their products. I am an old soldier and I always plan to have stuff to survive with if the **** hits the fan. While we haven't had the zombies come through yet, there have been plenty of floods, hurricanes, massive snowstorms, etc. that have required us to be able to survive on our own for 2-5 days without heat, electricity, clean water, and EMS. I use them for the survival food and do not expect to recieve the items over night.
Fast paced and rewarding
I’ve been with 4Patriots for a few years now, and I really like the fast-paced environment. It’s not for people looking to slack off—you're monitored, but it helps me stay focused. What keeps me motivated is the variety and the chance to move around to different departments if I want to. The managers can be a little chaotic at times, and there’s some miscommunication, but I respect the ones who admit when they mess up and keep things honest. The pay is great—it’s higher than any other call center job I’ve had—and the best part is I’m only on the phone a few hours a day. I personally prefer doing chat or email. Overall, 4Patriots has been a solid place to work. It’s challenging, rewarding, and offers plenty of growth opportunities. If you're serious and don’t mind being held accountable, it’s a great job. Pros: Variety, fun culture, great benefits Cons: Some miscommunication
I quit during training
The training at 4Patriots is laughable; unprofessional, tacky, very low level... the training was either in zoom group training and independent self directed reading of slides with oddly worded quizzes at the end that you must score an end average of 85% to pass training, while my overall score was 97% at the time I quit - the misspellings and odd phrasing written by the trainers left me extremely underwhelmed knowing that the actual job itself had to be on the same low level if not worse than the poor quality of the training. I had high hopes for this position and respected the company as a consumer so this was a very disappointing experience.
Best team I’ve worked on, hands down!
Pros:4P is fast-moving and exciting. The team is made up of high performers but is also highly supportive. In an environment of A players, it could easily feel competitive but that couldn’t be farther from reality. Everyone functions as a team and works toward the best possible outcome, regardless of credit. This starts from the top down with the founders and executive team. If you have a chance to work for the Balers, take it. There’s no messy political hierarchy. The best, data-driven idea wins and everyone is treated with respect. If you work hard, you can be as successful as you want to be. The company is led with a steady hand and with long-term growth and success as the goal. This means sometimes passing up the easy wins for the sake of deeper impact. Lastly, 4P is value-driven. The company that values you learn on day one are embedded in the teams and the work. A rare find! Cons:The industry ebbs and flows with the news, so it can be hard to predict and you have to stay agile. But the company in making good headway in balancing the peaks and valleys. Advice to Management:protect the culture and keep focusing on sustainable growth.
I'm upset ! I paid for 3 items . .... well 1 kit for 275+ dollars and I received 2 72 hours kits . Where is my 4 week supply ? And I've called 4x and sat in hold for hours !!!!!!!! And also told I won't loose my place in line ---- no one has called me back . You have my 280.00 - I want my whole order . Is this fraudulent? I hope not I trusted your purpose and promises - Sincerely ARMY MOM
I recently complained about 4 Patriots because I had not received any satisfaction from them regarding an order I placed and immediately cancelled. I did receive messages from them all week long, but none resolving this issue until Friday night. I got a call from them and the girl, Zenaida, was amazing. She got right into the account, stopped shipment, and reversed shipment of the parts that were sent ahead, then ordered a refund. Very pleased with the way it was handled once I had actual response from them. I guess they are really backed up with orders and couldn't keep up with the call backs. Case closed. Customer satisfied.
Ordered two 3month kits and several other items. Receive a box with 4 72 hour kits, 4 water tubes and my sun kettle. Missing the two three month kits, 4 solar battery packs and additional items. I have emailed, called and been on hold for hours, tried the chat which is not live and will not get you to a live agent, and tried the call back that never happened. I spent a lot of money with this company and now I'm thinking I've been scammed. While on hold you constantly hear how they want great customer service but if this is their idea of service, they are sadly mistaken. Not a good way to handle a first time customer.
