I booked this company based on the reviews I read online being mostly really great. Unfortunately though, we did not have a good experience. We were quoted 5-7 hours of work with 2 movers for a 4 bedroom home (which was not fully furnished). I requested a 3rd mover (which costs more per hour), to help get the move done quicker. I also did several loads by car in the days leading up to the movers arriving, as well as a truck and trailer load the day before which got ALL OF OUR BOXES moved (which loading and unloading was done in less than an hour btw). This meant we really only had furniture to move the day the movers came.
The movers arrived and started the clock 8 minutes before they actually began working, and then went over the contract with us (while on the clock). Despite having a third worker, this move took 9 hours. We moved 45 minutes away from our old house and despite being quoted for a 4 bedroom, it took two loads to fully move everything, which meant we paid for over 2 hours of just drive time. We noticed often that two of the guys hired often stood around doing nothing or waiting for instruction, one was on a phone call throughout most of the day and the other even used a plug at our new property to charge his phone (which I would have been fine with if he’d asked, but seems unprofessional to me to do so without checking first). The main guy was very nice and worked harder than the other guys, but you can’t put this kind of job on one guy.
They told us we didn’t have to unload any of our dressers, but they put all the furniture up on the side and The clothes inside moved during transport, and made it incredibly difficult to open the drawers later. We also were charged for three mattress bags, none of which they used. One of my dressers now leans forward, and my drawers will fall open if Left open even the slightest bit. Several of our pieces of furniture Received damage, such as holes, nicks/dents, or scratches. Our TV was also damaged in the move, The screen must’ve been hit because now there is a ripple on the screen when the TV is turned on.
When they stopped the clock and were ready to take payment, they also tried to charge us for their lunch. We complained about the second trip and asked for several of the hours to be removed since the quote was so far off from the actual day. After the move was complete, my husband spoke to a supervisor on the phone and they did offer us a very slight discount. But truthfully, it was not enough for the mess of the day that we had with them. There’s no reason this move should’ve taken as long as it did, especially with us paying for an extra mover and having so much done before the job began. It should have taken less than the Quoted time and cost us only half of what we actually paid. If we knew it would take so long and cost so much, we would not have booked movers and would have moved ourselves. The movers blamed the customer service rep for the inaccurate quote - either way I shouldn’t have to pay for someone else mistakes.
It was also mentioned during the move that when customers complain about damage or loss in the move, it is taken out of the movers paycheck and not from the company or through insurance. I don’t believe that’s how a Company should do business.
Overall we had a very poor experience and will not be using this company again, nor will we recommend to others in the future. I will advise those I know to steer clear of this company.

NO! I am not wring a review that is False! I realize that you said that you could come back that night, but the move was already finished! In reference to waiting until I noticed damages to write a review, that is because I just noticed them! I am not even asking for any compensation. Regarding E Mails, you are HORRIBLE at responding to them. I realize that asking half off my move is way too much. I don't expect that at all. One of the last e mails that we had, you had mentioned that you could offer a little compensation. That is ALL that I am asking. So please don't accuse me of making a false review. If you are still willing to offer something, $150, that would be sufficient, and I will be completely satisfied. Thank you!
I would use ZERO STARS if possible. This company was HORRIBLE to deal with. After moving my things out of storage, with another and far better company, I realized that several of my items were damaged, including my expensive Grandfather Clock. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. They had mentioned that they would offer some compensation for my over $1,000.00 move, but that NEVER happened. Excuse after excuse. I know they have many good reviews, but take it from this review, shop around. There are many companies to choose from that are much better to deal with. This company is HORRIBLE!

We've had several discussions regarding your move. During your initial call, you mentioned that you anticipated the move would take 4 hours. Based on that, we recommended an in-home estimate. After evaluating your needs, we provided an estimate for 8 to 9 hours. Understanding the move was going to be more expensive, you asked if we could provide a discount, which we offered 10% off of the hourly rate.
The move was completed within the estimated time frame. There were still a few things left over. To address this we offered to go back that night and get the rest at no charge. you declined the offer. The next day, we extended the same offer to retrieve the remaining items, but again you declined the offer. Instead, you requested reimbursement of half of the cost of your move. There was no reason to refund half of your money just because you wanted us to. You never claimed any damages until you wrote the review, so you could make your case look better. I will always work with a customer if I think we didn't do a satisfactory job. However I'm not in the business to complete a move for someone and refund half of their money just because. We completed your move within the estimated cost with no damages. You have not emailed us about any other issues except you want half of your money back. Since we wouldn't give in to your unreasonable demands you decided to write a review that is false.

Today we moved to the city. I had never moved before. I had no idea what to expect. Ethan and his partner did an excellent job. They asked questions and always made sure they were supposed to get an item. I know my husband and I could never had done this on our own. They were completely done in 4 hours. Well worth our money! I will recommend 2 fellas moving to everyone!
