Had a great experience with 2BM Nanaimo! Booked a last minute move the day before as another company cancelled on us. James and Ashton helped move everything from Vancouver to Nanaimo. We experienced ferry delays, picking up a couch from a store, in extreme heat and a 13 hr long day. They were absolute rockstars and took a lot of the stress off me. Cant say enough good things about my experience and would 100% use these guys again. Thanks guys!

I have moved with them 2x. The first time went smoothly. The second time they did ~3K of damages and offered less than $350 compenation. They broke hard plastic totes. Mh matress and boxspring as well as wood furniture incurred significant water damage, and they openly deceived me regarding their policies, forced payment before delivery, and stated mybonly recourse is to take them to court. If you look, burley and his associates have lost many claims in small claims court. They are only interested in making a buck as quick as they can and have no loyalty to repeat customers.

Shane and Chris K arrived early and worked non stop to get our move done. They took a great deal of time and care wrapping our furniture. They were great at communicating with each other and also with us. No damage to any of our belongings and a pleasant experience all around. Would highly recommend 2 Burley Men, we have used them twice and been very impressed by the service they provide.

DJ and crew did an amazing job. Moved extra stuff and worked long hours to ensure that everything was moved carefully and on time.

Can’t say enough good things! We were fortunate to have Chris and Shanmu complete our move for us! They to let us know when they were on their way and arrived early ready to move! Very professional and thoughtful movers who take pride in their work! They took the utmost care in wrapping all of our breakable and fragile items. At the storage locker they managed to fit eveything perfectly protecting all breakables! Worked efficiently and kept in great communication throughout the entire move! Even fixed a broken screw on one of our bed frames that we couldn’t fix for the longest time! Highly recommend and will definitely be using again! I’d request these 2 if booking.

We first used 2 Burley Men 6 years ago and they were excellent. We used them again 2 months ago and what a difference. When the movers left our house they said they’d be at our new place on Monday, they arrived on Friday after no updates or answering our calls. When they did arrive, it was in a different truck then they had loaded our belongings into. Unsurprisingly, 4 of our big items did not make it. As well, they tried to convince me that a painting that came off the truck was mine, it must’ve been from a different customer. After weekly calls to the head office, they show no desire to locate the missing items, or to deliver the one missing item they claimed to have found. Complete unprofessionalism the whole way through. Very sad to have happened after years of recommending them.

LC and Quentin did an amazing job helping us move. They were most courteous and helpful. I highly recommend them for their fast efficient service.

One week after I posted the one star review (below) an online response to my complaint was posted. Not sure from who, though it suggests, “by owner.” It sounded all very nice, and I was assured I could contact them directly to discuss matters further. I called the office immediately, spoke with the same guy who answers the phone every time I call. He assured me he would be in touch with management asap and get back to me. Later, he called to advise me “he” (I have never been advised of a name) is on vacation. It’s been two weeks, and clearly the response they sent is mere lip-service… The worst service imaginable. From calling to book a truck, to the slow service of the load/unload (5.5 hrs for one bedroom), to calling to complain about the lousy service, and advising that one guy kept touching my arms and shoulders (SINGLE LADIES BEWARE), to not hearing back from ANYONE regarding my concerns. 2 guys show up with one dolly! Neither guy listened to instructions. Twice the elevator control panel was blocked. With several items still to be moved, driver takes his empty dolly and left it in the elevator. At point B driver refused to take an elevator that was available, because the dedicated elevator was being used by other movers. Almost 15 minutes lost, but he told me if he’s not working, I don’t pay. He also told me he’s independent from the company, and charges for his own time. He’s a liar! None of my furniture was placed where I instructed them to put it when they unloaded. Clearly they didn’t comprehend the meaning of centering furniture in a room.The driver was the least professional “service” person I have dealt with, and he had the audacity to ask me for a tip at the end of a very frustrating and long day.

This is the second time I have used 2 Burley Men- the first time we had Paul Q leading the move ( i cant remember the others names) & he was so good we requested him again. The second move was Paul Q & Shanu- Both where great. I would use this service again - I would also ask specifically for Paul Q and his team.

LC and Matthew were absolutely amazing when we hired them for our move. They were both very friendly and patient and the attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations! We had a lot of antique furniture and they were extremely cautious and wrapped each item carefully and we were so happy when everything arrived at our new home in perfect condition. We would highly recommend LC and Matthew for any moving needs. Thanks again guys!

Over two days, two teams from 2 Burley Men both packed our home and then moved us efficiently, with care and enthusiasm! Dominic, Bilal and Matthew were the best movers I have ever worked with. They disassembled and reassembled our piano without any issues. With our other items, they moved them efficiently, and with great care. We would recommend them to others with no hesitation. Thank you again for your hard work!
