Cocky owner. Expensive rates. Made assumptions about his competition. Shop around. Todd at Reliance Services in Santa Cruz is a good option. $90 an hour for Todd. Hard worker. Good personality. Does a lot of work for well known builders in town. Can handle large or small jobs.

As a contractor for many years, I have had experiences with many subcontractors. I have to say that Steve with ProTech is a the top of my list regarding knowledge and staying on the job until its done. No babysitting the sub or needing to repeatedly request completion. Steve Rogers has every single quality a customer would desire in a audio-video consultant:
!- Availability & Responsiveness: He is easy to reach and willing to do whatever is necessary to complete the job and make needed corrections and adjustments to programing.
2- Knowledgable: He is extraordinarily knowledgeable and up to date on the latest technologies in the field. In my case he had never worked on a Kalidescape system previously. Despite this he was able to do the necessary research to make the needed repairs and adjustments effectively.
3-Professional. Steve has a high degree of integrity and is honest. The job required that he have access to my home when I was not present. I never had any reason not to completely trust him.
4- Value: I have used other businesses for my audio-video-streaming needs. None of them could compare in overall excellence and reliability.

Mr. Rogers of Protech has installed two televisions, repaired faulty speakers, recognized problems with our WiFi receiver and is a continual go to person for all things technical. He is ultra~careful when positioning
devices and works diligently. I couldn't say enough about his expertise.

After 2 previous home audio 'experts' failed to get our system running, Steve came in and took care of everything in only a few hours. His knowledge is exceptional, he's prompt, his pricing is fair, and he makes sure the customer understands everything he's doing. 5 stars ... he's your man !
