Very friendly customer service with a wonderful selection of merchandise from alcohol to a hot chocolate that was superlicious! Wonderful that they allowed wine sampling to help me make my choice of wine purchase though my preferred sweet red was not available--I ended up with a totally delicious late harvest Riesling. Many sweet treats from the bakery as well (my son had an interview there today--good luck to him); quite a nice property.
The Discovery Pass ice wine event was great here! We went 25 January 2025. The double smoked pork belly arancini was paired perfectly with the 2019 Late Harvest Riesling which was surprisingly good and sweet since it’s not an ice wine. Love the atmosphere inside and outside with a fire pit outside with seating. Inside was cozy and warm and the wood table was very inviting. And they have a nice store with many things like jelly, wines ofc, coasters, candles, gift boxes, cups, soups, cookie dough, brownies, and so much more.

Customers, no, Staff first.
Had a terribly disappointing experience here. In all honesty, we only go for the tarts, the wine isn’t potable. But standing in line, a cashier gestured to two ladies standing behind me to come forward and cash out. They were staff. It took the two of them about five minutes. I was still waiting. Finally, that cashier that served the two staff members said “can I help you”. I said “well, you better considering you just allowed two staff to but infront of a paying customer”. She was thicker than the ice on a hockey rink this one. Couldn’t understand the situation, couldn’t even apologise. I asked her thrice for her manager and she finally pointed her out. I left my boxes of tarts and other things I was going to purchase at the cash. I spoke with the manager / she was nice and apologetic, unlike Alex who served me and couldn’t even grasp that she made a mistake. I couldn’t bring myself to support this business anymore. I left all my stuff at the counter and left. Not the way anyone should be treated by a high schooler.
Nice place with some of Ontario's Best wines. Bakery onsite and store with good pies and cheeses with pair with your wine. Art gallery on premise. Large outdoor patio to enjoy some wine as well. Decent amount of parking. Careful entering the initial parking lot when driving or walking. No free WiFi.

Most wineries make 1-2 amazing wines and they're other wines are good but nothing special. Only a handfull of wineries have all of the wines they make taste amazing, 13th Street winery is one of them. The staff is very knowledgeable, they describe the wines perfectly and have lots of interesting stories to go along.
The Art Gallery is a most see. Every pieces are up for sale and let me tell you there's a lots of extremly amazing pieces of art in this gallery. The staff is very friendly, there's no pressure sale, they're just happy to talk about art with you.
The store have lots of decorations and delicious treats.
You can sit by the fire outside to enjoy your treat and a glass of wine or enjoy them inside as you wish.
This is a family friendly environment.
All of the buildings are wheelchair accessible.
We will go back in the summer to experience the outdoor vibe.
Arrived at event, no one was there to check us in. Finally gound someone to check us in. We went to the first table and they said we had to be checked in and we said we were so they asked where our "cards" were. We were not given those. We had to go back to the check in spot to get our cards. The event was from 1-4pm, staff started closing down event at 3PM. We still had more tasting and had to request food be brought back. Staff had very limited interaction with customers and not very pleasant. Being an open holiday house the cheer lacked. Overall very disappointed in my first time at the event at 13 Street winery. I would give 3 stars for food and wine.

13th street is an Ontario gem. Fantastic location, fantastic wine, food and service. The Wine Maker creates happiness in bottles. While the staff will complete the experience treating you like family. Highly recommend this dog friendly chill vibe vineyard. You’ll wanna return again and again. Art, food, wine, and on-site bakery. It would be hard to have a bad time here.
