BAD QUALITY- DEFECTIVE ITEM NO ALLOWED TO RETURN-NO REFUND-NO STORE CREDIT
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at JCPenney Optical, assisted by Betty. The quality of the glasses I received was abysmal. I have always ordered from America's Best and never had any issues, but this time I decided to purchase two pairs of progressive glasses from JCPenney Optical. Unfortunately, both pairs were of poor quality with badly centered lenses and small focal points, making it impossible to move my head without losing vision.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, JCPenney Optical refused to provide a refund or store credit. I made five trips to their store to claim the glasses were made incorrectly, and each time they falsely claimed they sent them to the lab. After five months of back and forth, I received the glasses back in the same poor condition. This clearly indicates that their quality is simply unacceptable.
Do not waste your money buying glasses from JCPenney Optical. I deeply regret switching from America's Best, which truly lives up to its name in terms of both price and quality. Additionally, Betty exhibited deplorable business and customer service practices. She had the bad manner of hanging up on calls and not answering calls based on caller ID. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and further highlights the lack of professionalism at JCPenney Optical.
