Never visiting this ‘salon’ again
I have been a regular loyal customer for at least 3 years now. I encouraged my mum and sister to come here for their nails and pedicures as well.
I booked an appointment in the middle of May for a pedicure as there was a 40% discount for loyal customers. I questioned David as to how the discount works as my mum also received a discount code but no longer can get her nails done- so was going to use/pay for my sister to get her nails done with the 40% as well. David was extremely rude when discussing this via their Flamingo messenger. He explained the discount is only to be used by the customer who received the email (which is absolutely understandable but I just wanted to ask.
David finally understood my point which was that how are they going to check that every person who uses the discount is the person who received the email…are they going to ID their customers? He took this into consideration, said my point was valid and refunded me the deposit I had paid for my sisters appointment.
I then arrived for a few days later for my appointment and there was a slight misunderstanding with the time it was booked for, no issue I waited and John was able to do my pedicure. No problem in this situation!
HOWEVER, I then went to book another appointment for myself to get extensions, I logged in online as usual and it said I can no longer make a booking, so I tried with my mum emails and it worked. Almost as if they had blocked my account, so I called up spoke to Sophie and explained, which she claimed she had no idea what had happened. She said she was going to speak to David and call me back. A week later and I’m still waiting for that call. They were happy to take my money for my appointment then block my account.
Instead of explaining what the issue was, they have now lost myself as a ‘loyal customer’ which was said by themselves but I will also make sure my mum and sister no longer use their shocking services.
I have always recommended them when asked, but this will no longer happen. I am disgusted at the behaviour and customer service of a supposedly number one nail salon.
