I am getting close to being a 2M miller, have their highest status annually and have not been upgraded in almost 2 years. However, if I want to pay extra to sit upfront, I can make it happen. I flew my first United flight is years and sat upfront (I am also a million miler there). Apparently living on airplanes and being loyal to Alaska doesn’t have the weight it used to.
