The people of Vespa take their service and their food very seriously- their courtesy is faultless and sincere and they make sure your experience is delightful. Arien took beautiful care of us from our water choices, the true Italian choices of sparkling or still, through our incredible burrata appetizer with the lightest most flavorful focaccia, through his excellent pinsa recommendations (we got the Mori and the Prosciutto- both outstanding with thoughtfully put together tastes and textures, and wafer thin prosciutto). The crown jewel was the lasagna- served blazing hot out of the oven with a gorgeous bechamel and the authentic nutmeg-spiced ricotta blend that I remember from Mama Rosa back home.
