Slow Communication
I got in touch with Hearthstone as their reviews and ethos looked great. Unfortunately, even when just trying to arrange a short initial appointment with Ajay, I found the communication disappointing.
One email where I provided my available dates and times wasn’t responded to for a week, and I only received a response after sending a follow-up email. After their reply, I again received no response for another week. By that point, thankfully, I had found another mortgage broker who was much more responsive.
I appreciate that businesses can get busy, but based on my experience, I would be cautious about using Hearthstone if you’re on a tight timeframe or value prompt communication, particularly if you have questions throughout the mortgage process
