Dave Fyfe is an awesome guide
Our group of four had a fantastic day exploring Inverness and the Highlands with Dave Fyfe from Inverness Tours (invernesstours.com). Dave is a natural storyteller — he wove history, folklore, and personal anecdotes into every stop, so nothing felt like a recited fact sheet. Whether it was clan battles, local legends, or quieter corners of Highland history, he always had a great story ready.
His knowledge of the area was genuinely impressive, going well beyond what you'd find in a guidebook, and he was happy to dig into anything we were curious about. The whole day felt less like a scripted tour and more like spending time with a knowledgeable friend who knew every hidden gem in the Highlands.
We'd highly recommend Dave and Inverness Tours for anyone wanting a private tour that's informative, personal, and genuinely fun.
