From Stressful Walks to Total Confidence We honestly can’t recommend Platinum K9 enough. Our dog Simba, an XL Bully, has always been highly reactive — to the point where walking him around other dogs just wasn’t possible. It was stressful, unpredictable, and something we started to avoid altogether. About two years ago, Simba completed his first training month with Platinum K9, and the results were incredible. He came back like a completely different dog. We were also given clear, solid advice on how to maintain that progress — unfortunately, we didn’t stay consistent with it, and over time things slipped back. That’s on us, not them. Fast forward to now — Simba has just completed another month, and once again, the transformation has been unbelievable. We’re now able to walk him through busy dog areas calmly without any reactivity, which is something we genuinely didn’t think would be possible. A huge thank you to Alex, who worked closely with Simba. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs and understands them on another level — it’s not just training, it’s real dedication. Every interaction we’ve had with the team has been top class. Communication with John (the director) has always been spot on, and even staff who aren’t directly involved in Simba’s training treat him like part of the family when we visit. That says everything about the environment they’ve built. If you’re looking for the best in dog training — not just results, but a place where your dog is genuinely cared for — Platinum K9 is, without doubt, the place to go. Simba will definitely be returning regularly for boarding, and we’ll also be booking our Frenchie in for training over the coming months.
