Never again!
The trip TO my destination was fabulous, however the trip back was a NIGHTMARE for EVERYONE on my flights. First let's talk about my experience. I booked a round trip from Green Bay WI to Albuquerque NM. When I was about to leave after 2 weeks I got an email stating the delayed time of departure to DETROIT MI as my final destination. Someone was sleeping in the job. So I called them at 4am on departure day and told them they had me going to Detroit, not GB WI. Then she tells me the only flight to GB wasn't until 8:30pm. But the fun doesn't stop there. I had a total of 17 delays on my flight back to GB. I had an 8 hour layover in MN. bit if id been on the correct flight i would have had only a 45 mun layover. I FINALLY got to GB at 11:15 pm. I also had to ASK the CSR for compensation for them screwing up my return flight. They gave me a whopping $50 flight voucher that I'll never use in the next year because I'll NEVER fly Delta again. I was talking with other passengers on my flight, they had some stories too about Delta. They overbooked so they kept asking people to give up their seats for a lousy $400 voucher, but the next flight didn't go out until mid day next day. I'm sure Delta put them up in the nearest flea bag hotel to penny pinch, and that would be great if you're desperate and If you have the time and are a frequent flyer, but not for me. Another passenger i talked to said they had to stay on the plane before take off so they could burn gallons of fuel off because someone overfilled the plane. Made me wonder if the plane was even put together properly.
By the way, this was ALL of Delta, not just my unfortunate flight, I overheard MANY people complaining they were never going with Delta again.
