Broken Glass in a Drink – Extremely Disappointing
Our family visited Fontaine des Épices in Marrakech expecting to enjoy a pleasant meal, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing.
One of us ordered a piña colada, and while drinking it, discovered broken pieces of glass inside the drink. This was a very serious safety issue that could have caused a serious injury.
We immediately informed the waiter, but his initial response was disappointing. He told us that the manager was not there, and no one apologized or seemed to take the situation seriously. It was only after we raised our voices because of the seriousness of the incident that the manager finally came to speak with us.
Finding broken glass in a drink is completely unacceptable. We expected an immediate apology, genuine concern, and a professional response from the staff, but that did not happen.
Because of this serious incident and the way it was handled, we left the restaurant without paying for our order.
We hope the restaurant improves its quality control and trains its staff to handle situations like this properly, as customer safety should always come first.
