A great martial arts experience This was the second free introductory class I went to with a friend. We were loaned pertect fitting ghees for the classes. It is a welcoming space. We were introduced to some of the basic warm ups amd techniques by the top instructor. We were then paired with senior members of the club (Nina and Jake) to learn particular techniques. The teaching was scafolded and personalised which was great, and our partners were patient, helpful and friendly. :) Importantly, safetly was the top priority. That meant being able to 'tap out' at any time for any reason. A lot of care was given to communicating this and being mindful of new students. There is also an opportunity at the end of each class to experience the beginnings of how to grapple on the mat. The senior members made this a really good learning opportunity. There seems to be a great camaraderie at the club. I'll be going back! Thanks for a great start. 🙌🙏
