Will not give back deposit
My partner paid a deposit kver £2000 for 1 x adult flight and 2 x child flights to Jamaice for December 2025. No flighta were booked due to the hurricane. My paetner got in touch in Spring 2026 to re-organise flights to Jamaica in December 2026. The flights found by FlightPro were more expensive than flights another family member had found for the same period. My partner advised Crystal at FlightPro of this and asked if she could book the same flights ao he could save money. Crystal advised ahe could not access the same flights or anything cheaper so that would not be possible. The difference was nearly £1000. My partner asked for his deposit back and was advised not poaaible due to their T&C's cancellation policy. My partner advised them that there was no cancellation as flights had not been booked or reserved for Jamaica 2025.
Realising he would lose £2000 we decided to use the deposit for flights to Kenya and pay the difference. I sourced the flights on BA website for £3550 and sent the information to Crystal. Crystal came back confirming she could book the flights but the total coat was £3950. I asked her how she had come to that figure of a £400 increase when I found the flights myaelf that were still available at £3550. I also enquired as a flight agent was she.not supposed to be able to gwt bweter prices than the public not more expensive as it made no point using FlightPro to book these flights if it was going to cost us £400 extra for the privelege. Crystal advised me this was due to a payment plan, I advised her we did not need a payment plan and could pay the £1550 immediately. Crystal then back tracked amd advised it was an admin charge We argued it was excessive admin cost but was advised it stood. My partner contacted his bank for a claw back but as 21 days had passed they could not claw back. We resigned to this fact as FlightPro were not budging. The flights for Kenya have since increased by £1300 so we are now willing to cut our losses and learn from our mistakes of using FlightPro, something we will never do again. Please be wary of this company and do not use. I am raising the issue with Trading Standards as Crystal's manager is now refusing to give us our £1600 back less the £400. He is saying that Crystal gave us incorrect information and that the total deductions are £1000. DO NOT USE THESE CON ARTISTS.
